Lionel Messi Reportedly Headlining All-Star Soccer Group in Chicago

Several Chicago publications, including Crain’s Chicago Business that broke the story, are indicating soccer super-star could be in the Windy City on July 6 to headline an all-star group of players.

Reportedly Messi and 35 as of yet unidentified players will be at Soldier Field showoff their soccer skills to benefit Messi’ non-for-profit.

Soldier Field officials have not officially confirmed Messi in Chicago but they did confirm they have a Messi announcement coming soon.  So that means he’s coming!!!

The 25-year-old Argentine who plays for FC Barcelona is considered one of the greatest players currently playing. Earlier this year the player won his fourth FIFA Ballon d’Or award, a trophy given annually to the world’s best soccer player.
