The propaganda machine developed by the Obama administration called Organizing For Action (OFA) has begun a new campaign to coerce Americans to support Obama’s current proposals for tax hikes.

Jim Messina, chairman for OFA encouraged supporters of Obama to sign a petition because if the tax hikes were not passed, Messina warned: “On the chopping block are 10,000 teaching jobs, more than 70,000 kids’ spots in Head Start, $35 million for local fire departments, $43 million to make sure seniors don’t go hungry, and access to nutrition assistance for 600,000 women and their families. That’s just a few of the things we’ll lose.”

Threatening that an enactment of sequestering would destroy our economy, Messina claims President Obama “has put forth a balanced deficit reduction plan with smart spending cuts that protect the critical investments needed to strengthen middle-class families and our economy.”

OFA was designed to mobilize volunteers to campaign on the local level, as well as apply more pressure to lawmakers.

Messina explains: “We’ll work on the key battles of our generation, train the next generation of grassroots organizers and leaders, and organize around local issues in our own communities. We’ll continue to support the President in creating jobs and growing the economy from the middle out, and in fighting for issues like immigration reform, climate change, balanced deficit reduction, and reducing gun violence.”

Through local chapters strategically placed throughout the country, OFA will train volunteers to rally their local elected officials and state senate leaders to back Obama’s push for certain legislation; such as gun control laws, public education, Obamacare, environmental issues, renewable sources of energy and immigration reform.

OFA will devise a “plan for 2013” by conducting meetings to conceptualize how best to use their “grassroots” organization to vie for the Obama administration.

OFA is focused on “organizing for Action will support the legislative agenda we voted on, train the next generation of grassroots organizers and leaders, and organize around local issues in our communities.”

At their disposal is data collected on Obama supporters from two previous campaigns and a call to citizens to lead a fake grassroots effort that is not confined by the restrictions on Capitol Hill.

OFA is registered as a 501(c)4 nonprofit which gives the corporation the ability to raise unlimited amounts of money from any type of donor; whether it be an individual, corporation or union.

As a social welfare organization, OFA can and most likely will be used to funnel money through its doors as it is not required by law to disclose its donors.

Although OFA claims to be by the people, for the people, they are clearly a tool to advance the legislative agendas of Obama for the next four years.

OFA relies on heavy financial donations just as any SuperPAC to gain footing and influence over agendas put forth by the Obama administration.

For raising $500,000, the Obama administration will give those donors a seat on a national advisory board and the “privilege of attending quarterly meetings with the president, along with other meetings at the White House.”

Cash speaks and donors can expect to have first seat on appointments to not only employment within the administration but also possible ambassadorships.

In totality, OFA wants to receive $5 million to operate massive propaganda efforts across the nation.

Jay Carney, press secretary for the White House said that OFA simply engages “in advocacy and grassroots mobilization activities around public policy issues. It will not be engaged in political campaign-related activities. It has been organized to rally support of the president’s policy agenda but is a separate organization. Administration officials routinely interact with outside advocacy organizations and this has been true in prior administrations.”

The Obama administration has used contests and receptions for activists to encourage big donors to give their cash. Michael Jordan, former NBA basketball player has participated in these coercive efforts to elicit money from private sector millionaires.

George Clooney was offered up to the financial supporters a “win a date with Clooney” contest. According to OFA, if a donation of at least $3 is made, that individual is “automatically entered to win two seats at George Clooney’s reception with President Obama.”

Clooney participated in another propaganda campaign with the Obama administration in 2012; regarding the Kony2012 Boogeyman man-hunt for a rebel that had not been heard from since 2007. Joseph Kony was such a threat, according to Obama, independent filmmakers and Angelina Jolie, a CFR representative and UN Ambassador, that an all-out military invasion of Uganda was necessary despite the fact that the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) confirmed that Kony was not relevant.

OFA has been instrumental in the emotional response across the nation regarding gun control with trips made by Obama and Vice President Biden to sway public opinion on the morality of the 2nd Amendment.

Opponent to OFA, Fred Wertheimer, said that the fake grassroots propaganda tool “opens the door to opportunities for government corruption by allowing corporations and individuals to provide unlimited amounts of money to directly benefit the president’s interest and potentially to receive government benefits and favors in return.”
