Jessica Buchanan was an American aid worker who was kidnapped by Somali pirates for 93 days back in October of 2011. After a harrowing experience of surviving in the wilderness for three months and near death due to an infection, Seal Team 6 dropped from the sky to rescue her, while killing all nine of her abductors.
Buchanan has released a new book detailing the experience.
