In Friday’s knockout World Cup match between Portugal and Israel, Recent Match Football match Cristiano Ronaldo refused to xchange his jersey with an Israeli player,, as a protest against Israeli brutality in Palestine. Very few leading media channels reported this news. This is not the first time that the 28 year old player has shown his solidarity with Palestine. In 2011, Ronaldo sold his shoes to raise funds for Real Madrid Foundation, an organization that has built schools in 66 countries, including Palestine. In November 2012, he donated his Golden Boots worth 1.5 Euro to raise money for the victims of Israels bombing.
