Officers say the homeowner likely stopped a crime spree.
“I did rush to my garage and saw an individual run out. I ordered him to stop. He kept going. I fired a shot into the air with my pistol,” said Flamino.
While the man was able to get away, Flamino said he saw what he believed to be the getaway car and ordered the driver out at gunpoint.
