(Before It's News)

~~“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all,” Luke 17:26-27 (KJV).  This scripture is quoted and used in many articles and discussion concerning the end times but not everything is being looked at. There is so much more than just the normal day to day life that was happening.

Let’s take a look at what was happening during those days. Yes, as the scripture says there was marrying and giving in marriage and so forth but there were other key things in the pre-flood world that we need to explore.
One of the things that this passage is saying to us is that life as we know it will continue to go on. We will continue to work raise families go on vacations go to school climb the corporate ladder, go to church and suddenly destruction will come. Sadly many won’t see it coming because they lack discernment of the times in which we live. Jesus himself warned about this in Matthew 16:3 (KJV), “….O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” Many Christians are wrapped up in this world and its delicacies and delights but fail to see that it is leading them down the wide path of destruction. When the sudden destruction comes many will be caught off guard to the detriment of their souls. Read more at:
