In most parts of the state, where there is a UW-College, a Wisconsin Technical College is right around the corner. The casual observer might question why these smaller communities need two two-year institutions.
Supporters of the two systems say they serve very different needs and populations. MacIver’s Bill Osmulski spoke with officials at UW-Rock County and Blackhawk Technical College, both in Janesville, about how their institutions and student bodies differ. |
