By Guest Writer David Hines aka Doomsday Dave (bio and articles | forum)
I love this article which debunks the existence of Planet X. It talks about the infrared telescope WISE, how it searched for planets in our outer solar system, including the elusive Planet X, and came up with nothing.
My first question would be, just how much money did NASA spend on the WISE project, just to go look and see if there is, in fact, a Planet X? I bet the cost ran into multiple millions of dollars to search for this mythical beast. So I ask myself, why the hell would they do that, unless they were convinced of its existence themselves?
Why would they try to dispel all the hype on the Web and tell us, oh, no, there is no such thing as Planet X?
