An investigation revealed that Dixon had pointed a handgun at a 33-year-old man in the 2400 block of North Tatnall Street, threatened to kill him, and then opened fire, police said.
Dixon missed.
The victim, now fearing for his safety, drew his licensed handgun and fired at Dixon, striking him in the leg, police said. Dixon the allegedly retreated, firing off an additional shot as he fled.
