Surveillance video captured moment Ferguson protester pulled gun on police (VIDEO)
Video released Tuesday by the St. Louis County Police Department shows the moments when gunfire erupted between a violent protester and a group of plainclothes police officers. The suspect’s family previously refuted claims that the teen was armed, but the video clearly shows him pull a handgun from his waistband.
Tyrone Harris, 18, fired into an unmarked police vehicle at the officers after they confronted him following an exchange of gunfire between two groups of agitators amongst protests in Ferguson, Missouri, late Sunday night.
After fleeing from authorities, Harris was transported to the hospital where he remains in police custody and in critical condition.
Harris faces four counts of assault on law enforcement, five counts of armed criminal action and one count of shooting at a motor vehicle.
