A man suspected of threatening a Sioux Falls resident with a machete and fleeing from a rolled vehicle is in custody after an extensive search that closed streets.
Jeremy Jacob Goodshot, 28, from Sioux Falls, faces charges of aggravated assault, tampering with a motor vehicle and other traffic-related charges.
Sioux Falls Police found Goodshot in the back yard of a home in the 800 block of South Lowell Avenue around noon Thursday. He was detained without incident and taken to the hospital for injuries to his leg, public information officer Sam Clemens said.
Emergency communications indicated he had a bullet wound, but Clemens couldn’t confirm that.
