Police say a black male wearing a black jacket and a black knit toboggan walked up behind a person who was pumping gas and demanded his money. The robber pointed a small handgun, then punched the victim in his face and stomach.
The victim then screamed for help, and a person nearby intervened. The third person, who was armed with a handgun, fired one shot at the robber, who then ran from the area on foot.
