(Before It's News)

Day 13 Bundy Ranch Trial: Today in court the government called it’s first witness of the day, Ranger Greg Johnson to the witness stand. The government then played an audio recording from April 11, 2014 between Special Agent In Charge Dan Love, GMN talkshow host & defendant Pete Santilli, and retired Lt Col Roy Potter. The video showed a very cordial conversation between Love and Santilli as they discussed the upcoming protest. Santilli told Love that the protesters wanted a peaceful ending and 0 conflict with the BLM who had been gathering up Cliven Bundy’s cattle Para-military style this past week under the pretense of a corrupt district court order. In the audio recording we can also  hear Santilli and Love debating on who has the Constitution on their side. When the prosecution asked ranger Johnson if the conversation between Santilli and Love concerned him in any way Johnson testified that when Santilli told Love that he would be arrested for violating the United States Constitution he considered that a threat against law enforcement.

The next video that the government played was Ranger Johnson’s Dash Cam video. In the video you can see the front of the Wash and both the North and South bound I 15 bridges. Ranger Johnson testified that he was the man on the Pa system that was calling out orders for the protesters that just started to gather under the North bound I 15 bridge to disperse or that they would be arrested for impeding a court order (although his voice was unintelligible to the peaceful protesters that were at least 200 yds away under the north bound bridge.) Johnson also testified that he saw multiple armed people in the wash, however during cross examination most of his testimony was easily dismantled.

The final witness of the day was LV Metro Officer Tom Jenkins who was a huge surprise to the defense team as he wasn’t even on the prosecutions witness list until this past Fri April 3 when the defense team received an email saying that the Govt was putting officer Jenkins on the list. The defense fought valiantly to try to keep this surprise witness from testifying giving great arguments like the prosecution was violating Federal rules of criminal procedure which states that there is a certain cutoff date saying that the Govt must produce a witnesses list of who they intend to put on the stand to the defense team so that the defense can prepare for cross examination of their witnesses. That date was sometime this past Jan. But, even though the governments own rules say that this witness should not be allowed to testify, this unconstitutional judge allowed him to testify.
