Did you know that Dr. Bryan Sykes was named Cryptozoologist of the Year as well as Bigfooter of the Year for 2013? While most scientists shy away from the subject, Sykes took it as a challenge and released his Yeti report last year. It’s now been confirmed that DNA readings from some of hair samples were sent to Sykes show that the hairs came from run-of-the-mill animals such as bears and cows. So, what does all this mean? It means researchers have to look harder and stop sending in contaminated samples! “What it does do is show that there is a way for Bigfoot enthusiasts to go back out into the forest and get the real thing,” says Sykes.
