We should be so thankful to live in such a beautiful Universe as above! Join me this Thanksgiving in making it a priority to reconnect with family, community and the larger world. Let us find joy in our lives once again, take notice when those around us are hurting and include them in our circle of happiness. Things are changing very fast. We will all need each other like never before. Each of us has much love to give, but it’s worthless if we don’t spend it! It’s the only thing you can spend and end up exceedingly wealthy in things that actually matter. Reaching out does not deplete our resources. It multiplies them! We don’t need a new IPod or a new car or new clothes every season. We do need to heal our collective spirit. Do something nice for someone today. Let’s knit up humanity where it is so badly torn! Love is the one thing that costs nothing, but is worth far more than silver or gold. It truly does start with ourselves. Without a doubt, each of us can heal the world in our direct orbit. Think what it could be if we each played our part! The possibilities are endless. The “me, me, me” era is over. Commit today to reconnecting and loving with all your might. Spread the word! Occupy the higher vibration of Heart!
LOOKIN’ FOR HUMILITY
of course we’re not equally guilty
but we’re damned equally
responsible to make the world
fit to live in
we talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk
so how do we get to work, leaving
out the lame gestures, the empty
effin rhetoric
and…oh, this ridiculous, ridiculous
eggshell-walking pantomime
humility. I’m lookin’ for humility
here, and dreamers.
need the dreamers back, people,
unafraid to be saints, not merely
holy shyte good,
unafraid to punish the murderers,
not place blame on
the murdered
can we: speak honestly
hear with sympathy
act humbly
I am sorrowful. we have lost the path
to Kindness. we seem to only circle back
to square zero
we do dialogue, we do dialogue to
freaking death and have zero point crap
to show for it
when we find what is actually required
to serve the hurting, it’s too high a price.
and beautiful excuses are available,
darlings, in such ugly abundance
