Rowan County, Ky., official Kim Davis has been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service since she was found in contempt of court earlier this month. Her case has garnered nationwide support, largely from social conservatives including Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. As news broke of Davis’ impending release, Huckabee was set to take part in a rally on her behalf.

“There comes a time when you must take a stand for your faith,” he said, “and this is one of those times.”
Bunning’s order, the tweet reveals, includes restrictions tied to her release.
“Defendant Davis shall not interfere in any way, directly or indirectly, with the efforts of her deputy clerks to issue marriage licenses to all legally eligible couples,” the document states.
