In a recent blog post, Fox News host Greta Van Susteren posed this question:
Republicans are now asking themselves: what has the House and Senate accomplished since the Republicans have taken over and hold the majority in each?
Van Susteren claims that conservatives have been let down by current Republican legislators.
For example, the Republicans all ran on and promised simplification of the Tax Code but it is still filled with 3500 plus loopholes – and you know what loopholes are, special deals for special interests.
Van Susteren suggests that the three outsiders, Dr. Ben Carson, Donald Trump, and Carly Florina, are strong possibilities for the Republican nomination because “People are sick of business as usual.”
Donald Trump: “People are tired of being pushed around and being represented by incompetent politicians.”
Ben Carson: “And the government was to respond to the will of the people, not the people to the will of the government.”
Carly Fiorina: “Because people are angry and frustrated with festering problems that never seem to get resolved.”
Do you think that a Washington outsider has a strong possibility of gaining the Republican nomination? Share and comment below.
