Nightmare For Hillary: Big Obama Admin Revelation Just Gave Gowdy More Ammo To Go After Her
Hillary Clinton’s email controversy took yet another turn for the worse for her, when the State Department confirmed on Friday that it had discovered more work-related emails Clinton failed to turn over. The emails will be turned over to the Select Committee on Benghazi.
The Washington Times reports: “A senior State Department official said about 925 emails of discussions that relate or refer to Libya would be delivered to the committee, explaining that the new email were discovered during a second review of the email the roughly 35,000 emails that Mrs. Clinton turned over to the department earlier this year.”
Additionally, the AP is reporting that the State Department has a chain of work-related emails between Gen. David Petraeus and Clinton dating from her first few days in office, which had not been turned over. The emails reportedly were turned over by the Defense Department to the State Department’s inspector general. At that time, she was using neither a State Department email address, nor one from clintonemail.com. The chain ends on Feb. 1, with less than 10 emails back-and-forth.
Clinton has stated that the emails dated before Mar. 9 were on a Blackberry to which she no longer has access.
“The officials weren’t authorized to speak on the matter and demanded anonymity. But State Department spokesman John Kirby confirmed that the agency received the emails in the ‘last several days’ and that they ‘were not previously in the possession of the department,’” according to the AP.
Though the emails do not appear to contain highly classified material, they do contradict Clinton’s previous claim made to the press that she had turned over all work-related emails.
Clinton’s campaign press secretary, Brian Fallon, took to Twitter on Friday to argue that his candidate only meant she turned over all work-related emails from “clintonemail.com.”

In response to a federal judge’s order to affirm in writing that she had turned over all work-related emails, Clinton signed a statement which reads, in part:
I, Hillary Rodham Clinton, declare under penalty of perjury that the following is true and correct:
While I do not know what information may be “responsive” for purposes of this law suit, I have directed that all my e-mails on clintonemail.com in my custody that were or potentially were federal records be provided to the State Department, and on information and belief, this has been done.
As reported by Western Journalism, the State Department confirmed in June that multiple emails regarding Libya and Benghazi, between Clinton and friend Sidney Blumenthal, were also not turned over to the agency.
Clinton is scheduled to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on October 22.
