Everybody wants to know that their work has been validated.
In an astounding show of confidence, Westwood One Media has just given conservative talk show host Mark Levin this validation.
In an unprecedented move, Westwood One announced Levin’s contract has been renewed for 9 years.
With his daily show airing on more than 300 stations around the country, Levin is considered one of the most trusted voices on radio.
“It’s a great privilege to be able to speak to millions of people each day,” Levin told Breitbart. “And I know it’s a truly unique blessing. I have never taken my audience for granted. But for these wonderful folks, I wouldn’t be in broadcasting.”
Levin covers the most significant current events on his show, but he also discusses other topics, such as history, economics and philosophy.
“I could not be more pleased to extend my radio partnership with Cumulus/Westwood One,” Levin said. “For the next nine years — an unprecedented long-term relationship in the broadcasting industry — I am committed to continuing to bring the best possible program, both substantive and entertaining, to my millions of beloved and loyal listeners each and every day.”
Westwood One Executive Vice President Bart Tessler expressed his pleasure in announcing the new contract, noting that it is a big win for the affiliates, advertisers and listeners.
Before beginning his radio career, Levin was an attorney. He also held positions as top advisers and administrator to some of President Reagan’s cabinet members.
He is the president of a non-profit legal advocacy group named, Landmark Legal Foundation, as well as a New York Times best-selling author.
