Parenthood means that there is more responsibility and even more honesty required of the mother and father. If they are to work together, then they need to learn to be honest with each other so that they can rely on each other. They have to give each other the fullest amount of information possible. If they can manage to do this, then it does not seem like paternity test is needed. They have a responsibility to be vulnerable and truthful with each other.
