Almost 200,000 people have evacuated from several Northern California counties after damage to spillways at the Oroville Dam. I have spoken to several people that I know within the area which are impacted from the dam, and these people feel they need to leave right now.

The Oroville dam, the nation’s tallest, remains intact, but barely. The emergency spillway, which protects against the overflow of the dam when water levels are high, and seriously eroding as discovered on Sunday. The pipes supporting the spillway are failing. Paul Preston has been to the site and has seen the pipes that are failing.  As he said, the dam could break at any moment. This discovery led to a mandatory evacuation for cities and counties near the Lake Oroville area.

I just hung up the phone from speaking with Agenda 21 talk show host, Paul Preston.  Paul shared details about the situation that are not being shared by the corporate controlled media. Here is what I have learned,

In the worst case scenario, one official said, an uncontrolled release from the dam could send a 30-foot wall of water downstream. Here are some details that Paul Preston has been able to learn.

1. In addition to the 30 foot wall of water, a 10 foot wall of water would engulf the entire valley below the dam in only a few minutes.

2.  Where Paul lives, in Yuba City, the expected wall of water would be rampaging at a high rate of speed and maintain a depth of 10 feet.

3. Further downstream, lies Sacramento. Sacramento has a population of about 2 million people in the region. Further upstream in the Oroville area, authorities are having great trouble evacuating 200,000 people. How long would it take to evacuate 2 million? The rampaging wall of water that would hit Sacramento would be at least 5 feet high.

4. A warm, wet storm is expected on Wednesday. This will melt the snow and increase the pressure on the dam from snow melt and absolutely lead to a breach in the dam. THIS MEANS THAT SACRAMENTO HAS TWO DAYS TO EVACUATE 2 MILLION PEOPLE!!! WHERE IS GOVERNOR BROWN? AS OF 1AM MONDAY MORNING, BROWN HAD NOT ADDRESSED THE DAM SITUATION, SPECIFICALLY. HE HAD ONLY APPLIED FOR FEDERAL MONEY FOR RAIN DAMAGE AND THIS IS ACCORDING KCRH CHANNEL 3 IN THE AREA. PAUL PRESTON TOLD ME THE SAME AND THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE HAS NOT RESPONDED TO THE CRISIS EXCEPT TO SEND IN THE NATIONAL GUARD TO OROVILLE WHERE THERE IS REPORTED FIGHTING IN THE STREETS OVER LOOTING.
Paul Preston and several others are self-evacuating and not waiting for Jerry Brown to pull his head out a very dark place.

A Predictable Disaster

An accumulation of heavy rainfall in Northern California this winter has filled Lake Oroville to the verge of overflow and ultimately a breach in the dam.

The purpose of the Oroville Dam is to provide flood control service for the region and this region extend to Sacramento which is located about 75 miles to the south. If the dam breaks, the water wall that will hit Sacramento will be a rapidly moving wall of water that will be about five feet high. Can you imagine the extreme loss of life. I spoke with three different people since 10pm Mountain on Sunday night and they estimate the loss of life, without immediate evacuations could be as high as a million people. A million people, I have heard the figure more than once.

Given the status of the dam, depleted, this was a completely predictable event and the fact that a general order to evacuate is totally irresponsible. Some I have spoken with believe that Brown wants the disaster for political reasons that I will discuss in a follow up article as I will be conducting an interview with Paul Preston later in the early evening on Monday, February 13th.

I want to emphasize that the dam’s two spillways, the primary and the emergency spillway, which are channels to leak water out of the lake to prevent overflow. Both spillways are in danger of collapsing. the damage covers too large of an area at the dam site and is not, at this time, repairable. THEN WHY AREN’T THE PEOPLE IN SACRAMENTO BEING EVACUATED?

What the Local Evacuation Looks Like

As soon as the local evacuation order was given, within 30 minutes, stores closed and locals were boarding up their shops. Local gas stations were overwhelmed and ran out of gas.  The traffic out of town was moving at a snails pace as evacuees waited in traffic trying to get out of low-lying areas. People were taking as long as 5 hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Reports of looting commenced almost immediately. Paul Preston said he was warned to not go anywhere without a gun. People are in a state of agitated panic with fear as the base emotion. Frightened people will act in very unpredictable ways.

To the People of Sacramento

California, your state government is corrupt and inept. Many feel that Gov. Brown is exploiting this situation for political gain. You cannot trust your local and state authorities to ensure that you can exit the area if need be.  If I were in Sacramento, I would leave today, Monday morning. Do not wait for the authorities to make a decision. They need to drop the water levels by an estimated 50 feet to save one of the two spillways. That is not likely to happen with a new storm coming in on Wednesday. I have a question for you Sacremento. Look at your rush hour traffic and multiple it by a factor 0f 100. If it took 5 hours and the local areas above you, and they are not, as of yet, fully evacuated, how long would it take to evacuate your city with a rushing wall water coming at you? And remember, you can only evacuate in one direction.

President Trump is powerless to help because he has to be invited in. And Jerry Brown is displaying no sense of urgency.

Sacramento, you are on your own.

  • Maybe Governor Jerry Brown wants one million people to die as his human blood sacrifice to Lucifer, the Devil.

And to gain favor with the Lucifer, the Devil, worshiping New World Order crowd.

Wasn’t Hillary suppose to become the President of California if California was successful in becoming its own nation? It was rumored Obama was moving there too if Hillary was California’s President.

Hillary and Obama need to be arrested for treason. Jerry Brown needs to be arrested for sedition.

Hold them at Leavenworth Prison, in solitary confinement with access to jail guards and their attorneys only. So, they can’t cause any more treason or sedition before their SPEEDY trials.

If found guilty at trial, over at Leavenworth Prison, hang all 3 of them by there necks until dead. Broadcast their executions live on TV before all the world.

So, others will see there is still the rule of law and justice for ALL in America.

    • Yes, yes, yes, will it ever happen…

why only say 1 million–how about 10 million–sounds much scarier–more clicks for you hog man

    • 3 ? why only three ? I was thinking a few more than that

  • The soft part of the dam has been sabotaged.
It was the ultimate inside job from we-know-who, because no explosive was used, but a tranquil sap work while the enabler looked the other way.
We have a quiet 911 in the making.

  • First droughts then floods. The good Lord may be taking retribution on the most ungodly state in the union.

    • the climate & weather produce droughts & floods, not imaginary gods

  • Considering that during Obama’s reign of power we essentially had an absentee landlord that was totally asleep at the wheel when it came to repairing ANY of this nations crumbling infrastructure and also considering that his completely irresponsible bad attitude rubbed off on the ultra liberal democratic state governors and politicians in states such as California it’s no wonder that things are really falling apart from total neglect and poor maintenance now !!! My guess is that THIS is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to some of the really catastrophic failures that we’re going to see as a direct result of their really poor stewardship and near complete lack of real maintenance very soon all across the entire country !!! Think of things like that interstate bridge that fell into the river in Minneapolis some years back with all of those cars on it !!!

  • im sorry but you write some stupid things as where the hell do you get one millon from and also the news are saying that the water level is well going down so from me to you i think you are a loser and you feed of on people in giving them bad news and then making it 1000 times worse for them then it is …….. loser

  • Yuge Hype!!!

  • One Million down, Two Million to go and we’ll have ALL the illegal voters and Hillary’s margin of popular vote victory. Think of the savings in welfare, foodstamps, social services, and jail space. Let the flood begin !!!!!!!

  • Pssst… Dave? You are ALWAYS ON YOUR OWN with government and disasters. For man-made government IS a disaster.

All the money that could of been used to improve California infrastructure went to unions, government bureaucracy, Negro and Mexican social welfare and the ubiquitous illegal immigrant.

Guess who pays? The people they RIPPED the money from – YOU!!

  • If its just the spillways that are in trouble then why issue an evacuation of over 2 million people and how is that a 30 foot wall of water would go downstream? Does not make sense. I am not an engineer but I think that would only be possible if the dam itself were to give.

    • It’s the same thing. Water flowing from a breach in the spillway will drain the lake and flood downstream.

      • The spillways are located at a level near the top of the dam and meant to drain the lake enough to prevent it from causing the dam to bust from too mush pressure. That means that below the level of the spillway the lake cannot drain itself. Am I wrong?

        • Wrong, yes. The spillway is made of dirt. Only the top lip of it is concrete.

Once erosion undermines the lip, the lake will pour through the breach.

The breach will widen and deepen until the lake level reaches the level of the river below the dam.

          • Obviously we’re speaking of the emergency or auxiliary spillway.

This is where they’ve been dumping stuff from helicopters, into a hole below that spillway.

This is why they opened the other, damaged concrete spillway all the way, to stop water from further eroding the emergency -auxiliary- spillway.

If new rain and new snow melt once again push the lake level up, the emergency-auxiliary spillway will once again have water flowing over it, and it will once again erode.

          • It might erode a little bit but I doubt it will go all the way down. The engineers are not that stupid.

          • What’s going to stop it? It’s just a pile of dirt.

  • Rather than investing in its infrastructure, California chooses to spend its tax revenues on flooding America with cheap foreign labour, most of whom will overwhelm California’s already stressed welfare rolls and school system. Now it’s time to pay the piper.

  • Only if we are lucky, be gone commiefornia!

  • Maybe you could keep the ADS on your site, BIN has more than enough of their own!!!

  • Remember Obama and Hillary said they create a disaster for political gain. Like more power or something. Look at fukashima radiation turnIng California into zombies

  • I live in Sacramento, and have 27 years.

Further, I’m a retired paramedic from Sacramento, who was involved in Yuba evacuations in the 1997 Oroville Dam threat. I also witnessed the resulting flood at that time, from the warm “Pineapple express” rain that melted the snow pack, and inundated the region, down to the central valley

The factors now in play, are FAR WORSE! By the numbers:

    – 60-90 days of possible further rain storms
    – All rivers were at flood stage, TWICE
    – Warm rain storm could happen at anytime!
    – The three ways of Oroville Dam water release are compromised
    – The emergency spillway is a flawed design. It has inadequate footing
    – Many earthen dam failures were preceded by spillway failure
    – Such rain creates a “liquifaction” concern. Ramifications might be obvious

If that 30ft high emergency spillway wall gets undermined by erosion, that wall might fail, which would result in a 30ft wall of continuous water release until the lake level decreased 30ft. The resultant erosion of the hillside beneath the emergency spillway would be catastrophic, and likely result in an increased breach, which of course, would release more water, possibly exponentially. Basically a domino effect.

Televised “repair efforts”, are just that. “Televised efforts”. Government “Theater” if you will, to cause as many that will believe, that “repair efforts”, might work; when such efforts would NEVER work in the short term, against future storm water threat. To believe that such repairs would work, is to believe that you could stop a freight train… with a BB gun!

Oroville Dam is the tallest in America, and the second largest artificial lake in California. It is also an earthen dam.

Yes, the worst case threat potential is real.

    Yes, California has a problem.

Yes, downstream cities have a problem

    Yes, Sacramento has a problem

Pray for no rain, because that’s the hope right now

    Have a nice day!

    :!:

  • Well, maybe some of the underground aquifer will get replenished as the floodwaters seep into the ground.

Yeah, fucker you haters, I know most ends up as runoff, but not all. so fuck off
