Schedule Emails In Outlook 2007

There may be times when you need to send an email on a certain day at a specific time. However, what if you don’t plan to be at your computer at this time? What if you’re scheduled to be in a meeting at this time? Do you re-arrange your schedule so you can be available to send the email? No! Instead, you can schedule the email to be sent at a specific time and Outlook will send it for you.

To schedule an email within Outlook 2007:

  1. Create a new email message. Include the appropriate recipients in the To: field.
  2. Click the Options tab.

  4. Click the arrow in the lower right corner of the More Options group.

  6. The Message Options window appears. Under Delivery Options, select Do not deliver before.
  7. Use the drop down arrows to select the date and time that you want Outlook to deliver the message.

  9. Click Close.
  10. Click Send. The message remains in your Outbox until the date and time that you selected in step 5.
