Motorola has scheduled an event for July-end, and has tipped the launch of new Moto G and Moto X smartphones. Most of us widely expect to see the latest avatars of Moto smartphones with minimal price changes. The official confirmation is still awaited, but an online retailer partner has already leaked the specs and pricing of the most anticipated Moto G (3rd Gen)
Fnac.es, a Spanish online retailer has highlighted the specs and pricing of Moto G (3rd Gen). According to the leak, the upcoming Motorola smartphone will be coming at a price tag of EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 13,700), with Android 5.1 Lollipop and 4G LTE connectivity. The leaked specs have already heated up the market, but since it’s a leak from a third party retailer, making any final claims about the real specs Moto G (3rd Gen) wouldn’t be fair at all.
According to the online listing, the image of Moto G (3rd Gen) looks completely identical to the recent leaks coming within a month or so. It highlights a 5-inch LCD HD capacitive display, powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz, coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It runs the latest iteration of Android, and boasts sufficient storage space with 8 gigs of inbuilt memory, expandable by up to 128 gigs.
In terms of camera capabilities, the leak revealed that the new smartphone will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. It will be measuring 142.1×72.4×11.6mm in dimension, and will pack 155 grams of weight for a nice and comfortable grip. The battery of this device is tipped with a capacity of 2470mAh, for holding sufficient amount of charge throughout the day.
The specs featured in this leak are really appealing but, we’ll like to remind readers that it’s just a leak highlighted by a third party retailer. Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything about the upcoming Moto G (Gen 3) and Moto X (Gen 3) devices, but still we are expecting some really powerful features at a great price tag.
The event is scheduled for July 28 in New Delhi, London, New York, and Sao Paulo. Since timings are different, India will be the first place to witness the launch of latest Motorola smartphones.
