Saqba. While claiming one town’s siege has been lifted, another town is raided by security forces backed by tanks. Several hundred Syrians have been detained over the last 2 days and some will never see the light of day ever again. Read this article in the NY Times about the truth of what is happening.

  • Operations in Saqba started by cutting off all communications at 3am.
  • All entrances were blocked by military barricades
  • Security road blocks were erected inside the town.
  • All detentions took place as people went to the sunrise prayers in Mosques.
  • Those who were detained at home were also robbed of their precious assets such as gold, jewelry, etc..,
  • The Syrian Mukhabarat and the 4th Army participated in these raids.
