Roxgold Files Technical Report for the 55 Zone

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – April 18, 2013) - Roxgold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ROG) (“Roxgold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the filing of a technical report titled “Resource Update Report for the Yaramoko, 55 Zone, West-Central Burkina Faso” (the “Technical Report”) on SEDAR (www.sedar.com). The 55 Zone is located within Roxgold’s 100% controlled Yaramoko exploration permit. There are no material differences between the mineral resource estimate contained in Roxgold’s news release dated March 4, 2013 pertaining to the 55 Zone, and the Technical Report filed today.

The Technical Report was prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Properties and Form 43-101F1. by Pierre Desautels, P.Geo of AGP Mining Consultants Inc.
