Zero Carb Chronicles

http://zero-carb.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss I was sore all day long. That's what I get for being so lazy for so long. I just wanted to jell all day at home, but I know that would not have helped at all. I got myself up and to work and felt a little better. I must have used muscles that have been dormant for a long time on Monday with all that work I did. It's good to know how out of shape you are in case of a zombie apocalypses. I guess I would be a zero carb meal for them. In the past I have mentioned that I get invited to go out to eat at work every now and then. I think I also that I mentioned that sometimes vendors treat my section with food. Today was one of those days that a vendor treated us with food. I used to love to eat Chinese buffets. Instead of someone inviting me to go to one, one came to me. We were treated with a ton of Chinese food. The worst part was that my particular office has a large conference table in which they set up all the food. The smells of the food were incredible. I would call it torture. It was so bad that I left my area to work out of another office. I had to get away from the temptation. This is one of the reasons I know I am not there yet. 2 months sounds like a lot of time, but it is only a beginning. At this stage I think a lot of people could be vulnerable. It only takes a moment of weakness to ruin any progress someone has made. After that it may be hard to go back. So I chose to remove myself from the temptation. I understand that I will not always be able to remove myself from situations and I will have to deal with them. I just hope at that time I will be strong enough to deal with it. I am glad that I had a comment from Marie and that Dave answered it. Not everyone understands zero carb. Most have only heard of low carb. I hope Marie looks into it and gives it some consideration. There are people out there that eat zero carb strictly for good health and do not need to lose weight. No movement on the scale. Thanks for your support and stopping by to read.
