(Before It's News)

Finance Ministers of the Eurogroup currently in Athens have decided to finally and practically reward Greeks for their sacrifices. The common people, not the government officials and the state institutions. During the informal meeting, where they will decide about the amount and the pace of the bailout tranches to debt-ridden Greece, the Finance Ministers of the Eurogroup took the brave decision to

grant to each Greek 2,000 euro as reward or compensation to all the taxes and income decreases they suffered during last four years of austerity agreements.

According to unconfirmed information, there would be no income criteria for the reward. Only precondition is for the compensation is that the beneficiary is registered at the tax authorities and has a tax number.

As the Greek past, present and future primary surplus is not enough to turn this decision into reality, the Euro Finance Ministers may consider to stage a crowd-funding project.

This would be great for low pensioners, low incomers and no-income jobless, if it wasn’t for the April Fool’s Day :)

hurrah
