Another mortar bomb fired at IDF force near Gaza; third in 24 hours

A mortar shell was fired from Gaza at a force of IDF troops operating near Nahal Oz on Wednesday. None of the troops were wounded in the third mortar attack in the last day. Reports in Gazan social networks said IDF tanks opened fire on Hamas obervation posts in response.
Earlier in the day, fighters from the military wing of Hamas in Gaza fired a mortar round at an IDF force engaged in operational activity within Israeli territory. None of the troops were injured. The incident marked the second time in the last 24 hours that a mortar shell was fired at IDF troops from southern Gaza.
