(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. May 25, 2016, 3:23 PM (IDT)

A vehicle with two Palestinians broke through Israel's Oranit checkpoint near Qalqilya on the Trans-Samaria Highway on Wednesday afternoon. The driver then stopped the vehicle, got out and fled along with the other Palestinian. One of them was captured by Israeli policemen, and the checkpoint was then closed in both directions as a bomb squad checked the vehicle to determine whether it was booby trapped. No explosive device was found, and the checkpoint was reopened.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
