Mike Pompeo, director of the CIA, flew by helicopter on Tuesday from Jordan to Ramallah where he met with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian news agency Maan said. The meeting took place after Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu had arrived in Washington for talks on Wednesday with US President Donald Trump.
