(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 21, 2017, 9:53 AM (IDT)

The Greek police Tuesday removed from the mail eight packages addressed to UN institutions and affiliates at various European addresses after detecting explosives. They were sent from fictionious academic institutions in Greece and disarmed before causing harm. Last week, a piece of mail exploded in the hands of an IMF employee in Paris and another was caught in time at the German Treasury offices in Berlin.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
