(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. April 4, 2017, 2:12 PM (IDT)

Several social media reveal that Syrian or Russian jets Tuesday dropped chemical bombs on rebel targets at Khan Shaykhun, in the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib. The death toll is estimated at 75 with hundreds more injured. Medical workers reported 11 children under the age of eight were among the victims. A Syrian military source strongly denied the army had used chemical weapons.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
