(Before It's News)

Around at 0:13 of 10/20/2012, tin-looking object exploded on Tokyo metro Marunouchi line (Ogikubo ~ Ikebukuro), at Hongosanchome station.

11 people are injured, some of them have burn on the face.

The metropolitan police department comments, a can held by a passenger with some liquid like detergent had an explosion for some reason.

A 27 years old man staying at the station comments like this below,

「電車が到着してドアが開いてすぐに『バーン』と大きな音がし、車内は騒然となっていた。しばらくすると、『スプレー缶が爆発した』とアナウンスが流れたと聞いた」

Soon as the train arrived and opened the door, I heard the explosive sound of “Baaaam” and inside of the train became a mess. After a while, I heard them announce “A spray can exploded.”
