Tepco’s filtration system does not remove Tritium at all. Tepco admitted this on their report published this August and October.

They are planning to discharge the highly contaminated groundwater pumped up just beside the crippled reactor buildings.

From their analysis, Tritium density was 660,000 Bq/m3 in the unfiltered water, and it remained to be 670 Bq/m3 even after the “filtration”.

Tepco states 47 other nuclides can be reduced to be 1/1,500 level, however this is only based on their subjective analysis.
