A major earthquake hit Fukushima offshore at 18:30 of 12/20/2014 (JST) according to Japan Meteorological Agency. Magnitude was 5.8.
The depth of epicenter was 40km. The maximum seismic intensity was 4.
Tepco announced no abnormality was found in plant parameter. They reported the maximum readings of seismometers in Fukushima Daiichi plant and Daini plant however the readings of Daiichi were smaller than Daini for some reason.

Horizontal : 12.7 gal
Vertical : 9.1 gal
Daini
Horizontal : 20.8 gal (Measured in Reactor 3)
Vertical : 13.4 gal (Measured in Reactor 4)
Additionally, M4.4 occurred Miyagi offshore 20 minutes after the M5.8. About 1 hour later, M4.8 happened Sanriku offshore.
3 major quakes occurred in the close areas within 2 hours. At this moment, Japan Meteorological Agency hasn’t made any announcement.
