Zenit St Petersburg break the bank, splashing out a record $100 million for football stars Hulk and Witsel… Full Story: Brazil striker Hulk and Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel have both joined Zenit St Petersburg for a record breaking $100 million. The Russian champions paid $50 million for each player, with both signing a 5 year contract. Hulk joins Zenit from Portuguese club Porto, whilst Witsel signs from Benfica, also a Portuguese team. The two players are Zenit's first major signings in the summer transfer window, which remains open in Russia for another week.
