The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are forced to abandon their official car after it breaks down in Papua New Guinea. Full story: Car troubles happen to everyone, even to the Prince of Wales and Camilla and the Duchess of Cornwall who's car broke down during their official visit to Papua, New Guinea. The royal couple waved goodbye to the crowds after a wreath laying ceremony at Remembrance Park in Port Moresby, the Pacific nation's capital city. But their black Mercedes failed to start. Several minutes passed before a silver Range Rover came to their rescue. Royal aides hastily moved luggage between the vehicles before they were able to depart. Earlier, the couple carried out separate engagements in the city. Prince Charles visited the Hohola Youth Development Center, where he was presented with a garland of flowers and watched a display of traditional dancing. The center's students performed a welcome song and showed the royal visitor examples of their work from cookery, sewing and carpentry classes. Duchess Camilla visited the Haus Ruth Women's Refuge, where she met some of the residents and was presented with artwork. The royal couple then reunited at Remembrance Park by Ela Beach for the wreath laying ceremony. After changing cars, the royals boarded a plane at Jackson's International Airport bound for Queensland, Australia for the next leg of their tour.
