In the evening of April 16 positions of Ukrainian military in the sector “M” were shelled for about half an hour. This was announced by the speaker of ATO Staff Dmitry Gorbunov.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Independence fighters repelled an attack by the Kiev forces Wednesday, destroying some 80 pieces of military hardware and injuring more than 300 servicemen, Alexander Zakharchenko said.
“According to our information, Kiev has been preparing a military operation,” he said.
Kiev forces and the militias of Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics have been clashing since April 2014 once Kiev launched a military operation in Ukraine’s southeast over a year ago.
