Bottled Water Recalled For Fukushima Radiation

In the first video below, Kevin Kamps from Beyond Nuclear reports from Vermont that abnormal levels of radiation have begun turning up along the east coast of the United States. It’s long been known that the west coast has been pummeled with radiation, however it’s conveniently managed to fly under the radar with the mainstream media. Now the radiation is on the East Coast. Back in April of 2015, CTV News reported the same radiation isotopes that escaped form Fukushima were turning up off the coast of British Columbia.
Not like that isn’t bad enough, but most people probably don’t realize that Morning Call reported several hours ago (from when I am writing this), that, “Niagara spring water with Wegmans, other labels might be contaminated.” According to their report, the cause was due to E. coli.
Here’s the problem: I was just contacted by a source in Riverside, Rhode Island who said the following:
Hey man, I don’t know if it means anything or not My girlfriend and I were just in Shaw’s Super Market in our town, and we tried to buy a case of store brand Shaw’s Bottled Water, but the shelves were clear.
I asked an employee there what was going on, and the employee told us they recalled the water due to the fact that it was contaminated with radiation. The significance of that? I don’t know, but i thought it may have to do with Fukushima but hey I thought I’d give you a shout out about it. I’ve been reading your articles and I like them. Have a good one man.
I think that it’s something that should be put out there because they recalled them but for how long before they found out about the contamination is important and people should be informed about it. I don’t want to drink irradiated water and I doubt anyone else would. Keep up the good work.

For the first time, scientists have detected small amounts of radioactivity in seawater along the shores of British Columbia that can be traced back to the 2011 Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster. But the levels are so low they are likely of little concern.
Scientists with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in Massachusetts reported Monday that a water sample collected in mid-February from a dock in Ucluelet, on British Columbia’s Vancouver Island, contained trace amounts of cesium-134 and cesium-137 – isotopes that only come from human sources.

Regarding the contaminated water, Morning Call Reports:
Bottled water sold under Niagara, Wegmans and other brand names that was possibly contaminated with E. coli should be safe but was recalled “out of an abundance of caution,” Niagara Bottling said Saturday.
State agencies warned Friday that spring water bottled this month by Niagara Bottling plants in Upper Macungie and Hamburg might be contaminated and should not be drunk.
The state Department of Environmental Protection found the bacteria in spring water that Niagara bought from Far Away Springs-Auburn in Schuylkill County, state officials said.
“DEP cannot provide assurance to the public as to the quality of the water bottled by Niagara between June 10 and June 18,” said a Friday joint news release of the DEP and the state departments of agriculture and health.
Consumers should avoid Niagara water bottled during this period, and those with questions on their bottled water purchases can reach Niagara at 877-487-7873, the agencies advised.
The water was bottled under the Niagara label as well as Wegmans, Acadia, Best Yet, Nature’s Place, Shaws, Acme, 7-11, Pricerite, Shoprite, Big Y, Superchill, Western Beef Blue and Morning Fresh, the company said in a news release Saturday.
The only affected products have codes that begin with the letter F (for Hamburg) or A (for Allentown). The first digit after the letter indicates the number of the production line. The next two numbers indicate the day, then the month in letters, the year, and then the time, based on a 24-hour clock.
Anyone who gets sick after drinking the water should ask for medical advice, the agencies said.
The suspect water was bottled at the Niagara plant at 7561 Industrial Blvd., Upper Macungie, and at the Niagara plant in Hamburg.
The bacteria were found in the spring June 10 but Niagara wasn’t notified by the operator until June 18, Stan Bratskeir, a Niagara spokesman, said Saturday. Niagara immediately shut down the production line in question, decontaminated the line and issued a voluntary recall “out of an abundance of caution,” he said.
“None of the water from Niagara showed any sign of E. coli,” Bratskeir said.
Even bacteria were present, they would have been killed through the process Niagara uses to treat the water, he said.
“What went into the bottle would be clean,” he added.
In a statement, Far Away Springs owner Stan Frompovicz said that while tests indicated the possibility of contamination, “every load [of water] is tested again at the receiving plant, where all results have been perfect.
“FAS only sells out water to bottling plants that further treats and finishes the water before bottling,” the statement said. “Therefore, the failed test result in question, even if valid, could not result in a threat to public health.”
The statement also said the same water that showed possible contamination was tested at least 25 times at two different plants on the same day and all results were clean.
In a phone interview, Frompovicz said the company was notified June 10 of possible contamination but received no immediate confirmation from the testing agency, so the alert didn’t go out to Niagara until June 18.
The DEP received several samples of the Far Away Springs water as part of its routine water testing program. The testing turned up the E. coli bacteria, the agency said.
E. coli indicates the water could be contaminated with human or animal wastes.
Water contaminated with E. coli can sicken those who drink it, and it can cause serious illness in those who have severely compromised immune systems, infants and some of the elderly, the state said.

Fox News Anchor Shepard Smith says: Radiation from the Fukushima nuclear meltdown in Japan has crossed the ocean and has landed close to North America – the gift from Japan that keeps on giving. Radiation from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant has now reached the waters off North America’s west coast – that’s the word from the scientists.
UPDATE: Fox News has admitted in the video below that the US government has told a “fantastical incredible lie” about Fukushima radiation coming to America’s shores as the East Coast gets lit up by radiation including RADCON 4 alerts issued for Washington DC and Richmond, Virginia as shown in the screenshots below. Warning that radiation from Japan is “the gift from Japan that keeps on giving”, Fox anchor Shepard Smith confirms that they knew they were being lied to by the US govt but couldn’t confirm it at the time. In the 2nd video below, Leuren Moret confirms that Fukushima radiation has made Hawaii and the Pacific Islands unsafe for humans.

THE NUCLEAR CORE HAS FINALLY BEEN FOUND …

We reported in May 2011 that authorities knew – within days or weeks – that all 3 active Fukushima nuclear reactors had melted down, but covered up that fact for months.
The next month, we reported that Fukushima’s reactors had actually suffered something much worse:nuclear melt-throughs, where the nuclear fuel melted through the containment vessels and into the ground. At the time, this was described as:
The worst possibility in a nuclear accident.
But now, it turns out that some of the Fukushima reactors have suffered even a more extreme type of damage: melt-OUTS.
By way of background, we’ve noted periodically that scientists have no idea where the cores of the nuclear reactors are.
And that highly radioactive black “dirt” has been found all over Japan.
It turns out that the highly radioactive black substances are likely remnants of the core.
The Journals Environmental Science & Technology and Journal of Environmental Radioactivity both found (hat tip EneNews) that the highly radioactive black substances match fuel from the core of the Fukushima reactors.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission agrees.
Indeed, “hot particles” with extremely high levels of radiation – 7 billion, 40 billion , and even 40billion billion Bq/kg – have been found all over the Fukushima region, and hundreds of miles away … in Tokyo.
Let’s put this in perspective. The Atlantic notes:
Japanese regulations required nuclear waste with 100 or more bq/kg of Cesium to be monitored and disposed of in specialized containers.

The new government limit for material headed for landfills is 8000 bq/kg, 80 times the pre-Fukushima limit.
So the hottest hot particle found so far is 5 million billion times greater than the current government limits of what can be put in a landfill.
In other words, the core of at least one of the Fukushima reactors has finally been found … scattered all over Japan.
How did material from the cores get dispersed so far? Remember, there was a huge explosion at reactor number 1 , and an even bigger explosion at reactor number 3.

Beta radiation levels are off the charts at monitoring sites all across North America, according to new reports. But experts are blaming these radiation spikes on practically everything except for Fukushima.
Data gathered from tracking units in California, Arizona, Illinois and elsewhere reveal radiation levels UP TO 50,000 PERCENT HIGHER. than what was observed at the same time last year, and in some cases compared to levels seen this past summer.
EnviroReporter.com says the impacted sites are scattered throughout the country and aren’t just confined to the West Coast. Readings taken near Los Angeles; Chicago; Montgomery, Alabama; and Madison, Wisconsin, reveal total beta counts per minute (CPM) greatly exceeding the 1,000 CPM threshold considered by the government to be problematic.
In Tucson, Arizona, for instance, a 460 CPM reading was recently taken, which is MORE THAN 10 TIMES HIGHER than the reading taken last year on November 27. Similarly, Phoenix, Arizona’s 735 CPM reading measured MORE THAN 21 TIMES HIGHER than last year’s reading.
San Diego appears to be one of the hardest-hit areas, with a CPM reading of 650, as of October 1. This figure is 60 TIMES HIGHER than it was last year on the same date, despite the fact that San Diego’s normal background radiation rate typically hovers around 20 CPM.
“U.S. Environmental Protection Agency RadNet radiation monitors have detected renewed surges in atmospheric readings of dangerous beta radiation across the country,” explains EnviroReporter.com about the seemingly inexplicable phenomenon.
“Over a dozen metropolitan test sites have registered four-month highs in EnviroReporter.com’s most recent comprehensive assessment.”
Radiation testing site near Chicago records radiation levels thousands of times higher than maximum safety threshold
Commenting on the situation, one EnviroReporter.com reader offered his own assessment that these readings are “astronomically high.” He was quick to denounce Fukushima as a possible cause, though, adding that this would only be possible if “something there has changed dramatically.”
Either way, the radiation levels being detected are still a major cause for concern. Anything above 100 CPM is considered by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to be a potential hazardous materials situation requiring the deployment of hazmat protocols.
At a testing site in St. Charles, Illinois, located just west of Chicago, a recent peak reading of 7,298 CPM caught the attention of some environmental activists, who chided the media for remaining silent on the issue.
This reading represents a nearly 7,300 percent radiation increase beyond CHP’s safety threshold. This site apparently experienced a series of massive radiation spikes beginning at approximately 1:00 am and lasting for as long as six hours.
California official blames plastic eating utensils for radiation spike, insist it can’t be Fukushima
Back in California, county officials in San Mateo recorded radiation levels at a local beach measuring 100 micro-REM per hour, or 1 microsievert per hour, which is five times the normal amount. According to the Half Moon Bay Review, local environmental health director Dean Peterson was quick to denounce that this level poses any risk to human health.
When asked where this radiation might be coming from, Peterson admitted that he is “befuddled,” but also denied that Fukushima could possibly be a cause. Instead, he says, it may be due to an excess of disposable eating utensils polluting the area.
“I honestly think the end result of this is that it’s just higher levels of background radiation,” stated Peterson to the HMB Review, adding that red-painted disposable eating utensils can also contribute to localized radiation spikes.

Keep your water, you are being irradiated anyway….this is just the elite stockpiling water. First it was beef, then it was cheese, now it is water. Do the math peeps. Try and think critically….you are being lied to all the time, stop cherry picking the lies to find a convenient truth. Nothing they tell you is true, and a few bottles of poisoned water compared to the poisoned air, flouride, GMO’s, food additives, vaccines……ad nauseum is really quite negligible.
