Congressional Candidate: “9/11 Was One of the Greatest Events In Human History”
In the era of political correctness we now live in, we are always reminded by our left leaning liberal lunatic friends, that painting any group with a broad brush is a no-no. Mind you, this is the same group that paints all law abiding gun owners with a broad brush, but liberals are more of the “Do as I say, not as I do” mentality anyway. Oops, I just painted with a broad brush again. Oh well!
Anyway, for the last 40 years New York’s 13th Congressional District has had the unfortunate distinction of having the corrupt Congressional stain otherwise known as the retiring Congressman Charlie Rangel to represent them. Recently, prior to what appears to be Adriano Espaillat Winning the Nomination to replace Rangel, Scott Fenstermaker was also running. During his campaign, Fenstermaker actually made the comment:
“I think the people in those towers died as representatives for the rest of us, for our crimes against humanity,” Fenstermaker’s quoted as saying. “Not only do I think that 9/11 was deserved, I think it was one of the greatest events in human history.”
I don’t know why I’m shocked, but I’m shocked. I thought perhaps there might still be SOME things were sacred with liberals, at the very least 9/11 in the city of NEW YORK anyway, but as Fenstermaker demonstrates with perfection: Liberals are about as deep as the platitudes and bumper stickers they recite. Some of them cannot even go that deep… as in:
Now I understand why people during medieval times thought it was sometimes necessary to draw and quarter a person… not saying I’d do it… just that I understand why they felt compelled.

The overwhelming response has been disgust among members of the city’s legal community, including colleagues at the Centre Street courts who work and have offices within five minutes of Ground Zero.
When reached by the Daily News Wednesday, the counselor, who says he is running for Congress, brushed off the outrage. “I don’t believe there are that many people that are upset,” he barked. When told the courthouse was abuzz with the news of his perverted proclamation he fumed: “I couldn’t care less what the people in the courthouse say about it!”

His critics — as far as he’s concerned — can go to hell. “You tell those people down there in the courthouse if they’re upset, pull their heads out of their asses!”
In his time as a defense lawyer, Fenstermaker represented Al Qaeda terrorists Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, who bombed two U.S. embassies in Africa in 1998, and another defendant charged as a 9/11 participant.

After the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in NYC, all parents were sent letters from the school principal warning that no harassment of Muslim classmates will be tolerated. However, when the Muslim kids openly praised the terrorist attacks, the other children were not allowed to respond. The Muslim kids were sheltered and protected, and the others weren’t allowed to express themselves.

A deranged former Manhattan prosecutor and longtime defense attorney is getting blasted by his colleagues for telling a popular website that 9/11 “was one of the greatest events in human history.”
Scott Fenstermaker, in inflammatory remarks for the “Humans of New York” website, said the country “got what it deserved” because of past injustices and unapologetically praised the terrorist act that changed the world and scarred New York forever.
“I’ve had people threaten to kill me. I’ve had people threaten to rape my children. But I’ll keep saying it,” Fenstermaker said in the shocking profile. He invited people to “call me a monster.”
“I think the people in those towers died as representatives for the rest of us, for our crimes against humanity,” he’s quoted as saying. “Not only do I think that 9/11 was deserved, I think it was one of the greatest events in human history.”
The page, which does not identify him by name but contains his portrait, went viral among members of the city’s legal community, including colleagues at the Centre Street courts who work and have offices within five minutes of Ground Zero.
The overwhelming response has been disgust.
Craig Lovrich, a Manhattan Supreme Court sergeant who volunteered as a 9/11 first responder and recognized Fenstermaker from the courthouse, was revolted.
“I’ll make sure to inform (the mother) of the 20 or 30-year-old who I watched fall off Tower 1 … I’m sure she’ll appreciate it,” Lovrich said.
Three court officers died rushing to the World Trade Center site and are honored every year at a courts ceremony.
Mark Bederow, who like Fenstermaker is a criminal defense lawyer and former member of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, blasted his colleague’s remarks.
“Zealous advocacy is admirable but gratuitously expressing glee over thousands of innocent deaths in order to offend any sensible person is vile,” Bederow said.
When reached by the Daily News Wednesday, the delusional counselor, who says he is running for Congress, brushed off the outrage.

Fenstermaker insisted he has a lot of support for his stance and said 2,300 people have signed his candidacy petition. His critics — as far as he’s concerned — can go to hell.

Fenstermaker worked in the DA’s office from 1992 to 1996, according to an office spokeswoman.

Fenstermaker struck one former co-worker, lawyer Daniel Bibb, as “extremely difficult to get along with.”
Bibb said he was so confused when he was sent Fenstermaker’s comments on Facebook that he thought the page of his friend, who sent it to him, had been hacked.
Bibb said he realized that “he’s got a First Amendment right to say anything he wants to say, to be as vile and nasty and vicious as he can be,” but “I think we have a First Amendment obligation to speak up and speak out when people say hateful things about the country.”
Bibb was working at the DA’s office on Sept. 11, 2001, and may have been spared from the tragedy in a very close call at the World Trade Center PATH station because he postponed his work arrival to take his kids to school.
Another lawyer who knows Fenstermaker recalled losing his close friend’s wife and a friend who “died trying to save innocent people that day.”
“My opinion?” said the notoriously assertive Manhattan attorney Daniel Ollen. “Anyone who believes that the 9/11 attack was one of the greatest events in world history has his head up his OWN ass.”
“Let’s hope it remains there,” he added.
