(Before It's News)

Barrack Obama, the leader of the free world, and President of the United States of America, has no harsh words for Colin Kaepernick. You’ll recall that Kaepernick has refused to stand during our National Anthem because of the corruption and injustice in America. Obama himself, upon addressing Kaepernick’s antics seem to take an understanding tone with the 49er’s QB.

During a press conference, Obama laid out his thoughts about Kaepernick’s “concerns,” saying that he is practicing his constitutional right to make a statement. On this, Obama is correct. Kaepernick can protest this way all he wants to.

But I found Obama’s statements about those who are angry with Kaepernick, especially those in our military, to be highly insulting.

“The meaning that that holds for our men and women in uniform, and those who fought for us, that is a tough thing for them to get past to then hear what his deeper concerns are,” said Obama. ”If nothing else, what he’s done is he’s generated more conversation around topics that need to be talked about.”

This is highly insulting to the troops under his command, who put their lives on the line for this country everyday. Obama suggesting that Kaepernick’s behavior is something they need to get “past” so that they can try to understand Kaepernick’s misguided – and frankly, childish – behavior when it comes to protesting injustice.

I myself have lent at least a little understanding to what Kaepernick is saying, and to be fair, he does have a point about certain things, such as the fact that Hillary is not in jail for crimes she obviously committed. However, Kaepernick throws the baby out with the bathwater when he refuses to stand up for a country that fights that corruption on the daily, and protests it because it contains corrupted people who use their influence to further corrupt. If Kaepernick really wants a country free of corruption, then I suggest he move off planet.

That said, Obama seems to completely dismiss any of Kaepernick’s behavior, and instead says that people should get past it and listen to what Kaepernick is saying, because what he’s pointing out needs to be addressed.

I agree. It should be addressed, and we’ll start with the corruption within Obama’s own party. Or how Obama himself likes to take pictures in front of communist figures that were as corrupt as you can get. Or how his own party is defending the very woman Kaepernick is complaining about.

Or is that something Obama wants us to “get past?”
