Dr. Srini Ayinala has a wealth of experience in gastroentorology, and has gained over 24 years in practice. His medical career began in his native India, where he graduated from S.V. Medical College in Tirupathi in 1992. He remained in India for his internship at the S.V.R.R. Hospital before moving to the United States for a residency at the Kings Brooks Jewish Medical Center in New York. This was followed by a fellowship at the University of Missouri which was completed in 2003.
Dr. Ayinala is dual board certified, in both Internal Medicine and Gastroentorology. As such his skills and knowledge are in high demand, and he diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions from pancreatitis and diverticulitis to ulcers, hemorrhoids, and irritable bowel syndrome. Treatments carried out by Dr. Ayinala include ERCP (or Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), endroscopic ultrasound, sigmoidoscopy and esophageal dilation.
Dr. Ayinala is a member of many professional associations, including the American Gastroentorology Association, and the American College of Gastroentorology.
