Dr. Jeffrey Perlman is an experienced ophthalmologist who has now been in practice for more than 28 years. After graduating from Cornell University, he completed medical school at New York Medical College in 1988. An internship and ophthalmology residency then followed at the same location, before Dr. Perlman gained a fellowship at the prestigious Illinois Ear and Eye Infirmary.
During this fellowship, Dr. Perlman became an expert in pediatric and neuro-ophthalmology, and he has carried this specialty through to his work in Boca Raton. His reputation as a neuro-ophthalmologist, and his expertise in the treatment of childhood eye conditions, has spread throughout Florida and beyond. As such, he is often called upon to lecture on these subjects as well as speaking to local community organizations.
Dr. Perlman is always ready to share the benefits of his experience and his expertise, which is why he’s so popular with his peers and patients alike. When not working he likes to relax in the beautiful Florida countryside, and he is also a keen hockey fan – both watching it and playing it with his two sons.
