With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Constance G. Joseph, RN, MSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with twenty plus years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in special areas of nursing, such as critical care, long term care, Home Infusion care, and Department of Health. Constance is currently serving residents as a Staff Developer and Infectious Control Coordinator in the Veterans Nursing Home in Pembroke Pines, Florida where she educates the staff on various topics, and as well as tracking and trending infections for the facility. She is also a practicing nursing at Jackson North in North Miami Beach, Florida in the Intensive Care unit where she is providing exceptional nursing care for the critically ill individuals and their families. Furthermore, Constance is an adjunct professor at Breckenridge Nursing School in Miami, Florida.
Constance obtained her associate degree in Nursing in 1994 from Broward College in Davie, Florida. She completed her bachelor degree of Science in Nursing at the University of Phoenix in 2004; she further obtained her master degree of Science in Nursing in 2015 at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Additionally Constance is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is a Basic Life Support Instructor, and she is approved by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs to provide nurses and nursing assistants training on Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders. She is also a License Health Care Risk Manager since 2010. Constance remains within the scope of her profession as a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Heart Association. Constance is also the recipient of a Certificate of Achievement signed by Florida’s Governor, Rick Scott and was honored with a Prudential Productivity Award in 2014 by Florida TaxWatch.
She feels that she owes her successful career to continously providing the best possible care for her patients, sharing nursing knowledge and experiences to young nurses, and she takes great pleasure in doing so. When she is not attending to patients, Constance loves going to the gym, enjoys going to the movies or Broadway shows with her husband Echel Tanicien, and loves spending time with her children, family and friends. Furthermore, she volunteers as a secretary with the Pepsi Club, which sponsors children from Haiti and provides them with food and education. Her group meets every month to strategize on how they can raise money to help build a technical school in Saint Louis du Nord, Haiti for these Children so they can have a better future. Her organization is a non profit organization with 501( c) 3 status. Constance is fluent in creole, French, Spanish, and English.
