Farmers could join endangered species list.
Underneath the shameless rhetoric of carbon tax grubbing governments and their shoulder rubbing sycophants lies a sobering fact of natural climate shifting — without immediate efforts to adapt and diversify global lifestyles and approaches in response to changing conditions we are exposed to risk of food shortages–a result of information neglect or distortion, such is the behavior of elitist scoundrels.
Misdirection of climate shift causal effects is tantamount to deception–with dire consequence. Without correct information we are exposed to risk and real ramifications concerning our survival.
Climates shift–that is what climates do, always have and always will.
We are told the remedy to natural climate shift is to barter carbon credits among nations and to collect carbon taxes to be used to “fix” the climate. I am not sure if this proposition calls for a magical climate control knob used to dial in beneficial climates or what? Either way, taxation and phony accords is not the solution–honesty, education and adaptation to unavoidable change is!
I do know that climate shifts are a reality of all planets situated in solar system orientation and climate shifts are an immutable, ongoing fact of universal existence. Shifting the emphasis from natural climate shift to global warming caused by mankind is at best deceptive and at worst criminal. leading folks to believe that climate shift can be remedied if enough money is collected and all product labeling is changed to green. Hogwash!
What is needed is honest acknowledgement that the climate is shifting and that the solution is for people to adapt to a different situation on account of it. It means understanding and reacting to regional climate shifts which demand a different approach to surviving within them. This means moving away from traditional agricultural techniques to new ones aligned with the reality of a different set of climate variables.
Should we fail to do this and quickly, this is the probable outcome…
Farmers could join endangered species list, speaker warns
Extreme weather patterns wreaking havoc on many parts of the world could put the global farmer on the endangered species list, says an international agricultural expert.
Allan Parker offered the synopsis during the annual meeting of the P.E.I. Potato Board in Charlottetown Friday as he described the dismal situation of the Russian potato crop and the damage that savage weather can cause on an agricultural commodity.
“We see polar bears in some parts of the world on the endangered species list, but I’m afraid we’re going to see farmers make that list as well since they are on the front line of global warming,” said the president of Parker Potato Ltd., who is also a director of the DokaGene Group in Russia.
Parker said Russia — with the third-highest potato production in the world — has suffered a near-collapse of the industry after losing 60 per cent of its massive harvest. A nine-week drought and temperatures upwards of 35 degrees Celsius this past summer let the crop wither away.
Similar situations are evident all over the planet as natural climate shift takes hold and traditional agriculture, hunting and gathering fail.
One cannot say the climate change is fiction, it is real, it is happening and will continue to do so.
The issue is not “Are the planetary climates changing?” They are, all of them, not just Earth, the entire solar system is experiencing coordinated climate change, Mars, Jupiter… and all the rest. The common denominator for solar system climate change is the shifting activity and behavior of our common star… the Sun.
Hopefully, the facts of the matter will be addressed quickly and properly, populations will become informed and receive sensible direction for adopting adaptation strategies mapped onto the anticipated climate of their region.
Science needs to divorce itself from the hand that feeds it… Science needs to provide sound, honest assessment and guidance instead of mouthing the party line of self-professed elitist interests… there is too much at stake to turn climate shift into a political football for the purpose of generating obscene wealth for the privileged few!
That is the way I see it!
Why?
Because track record throughout history demonstrates that the welfare and wellbeing of the majority population has always been sacrificed for the personal benefit of a few elite power-mongers, why would this be different?
The elitist sees opportunity in misery, shortages provides gouging, gouging provides wealth.
