(Before It's News)

A piece of spirit bread to chew and meditate on.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.Rev1:10+11

There are some who claim :

The Book of APOCALYPSE was specifically written to announce what would occur in “the last days.” Hence, St. John’s apocalyptic revelations apply to the present era — i.e., the “last days,” whose arrival was heralded by the restoration of Israel.”

The above two verses clearly show those people to be wrong. The book is not written for the churches in Rome, Spain, Africa or elsewhere in the world, but specifically to the 7 Asian churches.

Therefore we cannot automatically apply Johns Revelation to the present era as those people claim. That claim is directly opposing Scripture and thus can only come from the originator of lies and deceit, Lucifer, and his minions.
