Furthermore, in 321 A.D., Constantine the Great issued an edict to make Sun-day the official day of worship in order to appease Christians and sun worshippers. Sunday as a day of worship links back to the ancient practice of Babylonian sun worship. Because the Catholic Church adopted many of these pagan practices with their great power and influence and infused them into the Christian religion, the multitudes believe them to be true. Babylon has maintained a religious hold on all of society for thousands of years. It is where the very first human rebellion against God took place and, according to the Bible, it will also be the source of the very last human rebellion against God. Exactly! By George I think you are getting it! You are seeing the difference between what veneration and worshiping is. Catholics DO NOT worship a Rosary or any statue they venerate them. A rosary is merely a tool prayer beads they are used as a tool ONLY to keep count of the prayers to GOD and the amount of times Mary is asked to say a prayer for us ONLY nothing more and nothing less.

You have plenty of targets. It has all been laid out for you. Stop being lazy and look outside your Catholic sources – you’ve doomed your search for the Truth to failure if you don’t. What about the “Co-Redemptrix” doctrine (the participation of Mary in the salvation process).
And what about “Mediatrix”. According to this doctrine that SOME Catholics follow (and you called me the cookie-cutter, hypocrite), Mediatrix refers to an act of intercession as the ONE mediator, and may be done by all the ‘saints’ (so-called), but Mary is seen as having the highest ‘secondary’ authority.

No, Kahuna, you don’t get it. Veneration is a concept conceived in your fleshly mind. At the Ark, the Most High WAS worshipped because that is LITERALLY where He dwelled. The rosary is an idol with nefarious roots. It is NOT a dwelling place – get that one through your thick skull.

Was there a rosary in Messiah’s hands when He cast out demons? How about the Apostles? Did anyone in Scripture ever rely on a physical aid for spiritual work? I wonder if you can show me from the Word where they did. Moreover, I wonder whether you have searched for the source of this icon. It is much older than 2000 years. So where did it come from? Was it simply invented by a Catholic after Messiah was raised? No. It existed well prior to that. Seek, and ye shall find.

Friend, those items are useless and should be cast to the flames. Messiah’s hands were always empty. So too were the hands of the Apostles and the Disciples who were commissioned to heal and to cast out demons. We are instructed neither to ADD anything to nor to SUBTRACT anything from what is written. What is written leaves no place for idols or for icons or for physical items of any kind, to be utilized in the way Roman Doctrine says they are to be used.

You see that, Kahuna? “BY HER MERITS.” Not by Messiah, not by the Father, by Mary. That is a flagrant violation of the Word.

Note well that the words employed in this instance, namely “I REPEAT”, utterly eliminate any such future attempt at what you have suggested Kahuna, which is that the promise could be ‘walked back’ or that any disclaimer should be later appended to the promise, such as ‘the promise is dependent upon this or that’ or ‘the promise should not be understood in a literal sense.’ This is language of a specific and crystal clear nature. This is the same TYPE of language employed throughout Scripture by Messiah Himself, whenever He would say things like ‘till Heaven and Earth pass away.’ No matter the specific clarity of the language, there will always be folks attempting to do what you are doing now, which is to argue against plainly-spoken words, and to suggest they mean something other than what they obviously, conspicuously and unmistakably INTEND to mean. That is Catholic reasoning at its finest, Kahuna. Why not give simplicity a chance and see where it leads?

Now THIS is actually true. Inasmuch as the promise states plainly that the wearer, a.) Shall not suffer eternal fire, and, b.) shall not be condemned to hell; there is nothing contained in the plainly-stated promise about any guarantee of heaven. That much is not in dispute. All that is promised is that the wearer shall not go to hell and/or be burned in eternal fire. But that is more enough of a (very problematic) promise. Your dilemma still stands fast. And it is your dilemma, as a Catholic, and cannot be so glibly explained away as you have attempted to do above.

So what? Who is the liar? The Carmelites? Or your Lady of the Roses? One of them is full of it. And that amounts to a lose/lose equation for the Roman Rite. No small wonder is this a matter which certain Catholics would love to ‘downplay’ or simply to forget about all together. Such are the agonies of this age of information. Fallacies and contradictions have a much harder time surviving than they used to. It is our individual response to that fact which weighs most heavily in the scales.

Jesus died on the cross to purchase us, with His blood, no one else paid the price for us, no one else is qualified to be our mediator.

I’ll give you my take on that Mattrick.
God’s plan of salvation for the whole world was to send the Word as flesh amongst men to be their high priest. In order to be a faithful and merciful high priest for men, the Word had to come and share in our humanity and become flesh and blood (see Hebrews chapter 2). Concerning this plan/salvation of God, it says in Hebrews:
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
—Hebrews 10:5-7
So God prepared a body for the Word to become flesh in the womb of Mary. He sent an angel to tell Mary that she was highly favored because God had chosen her to bear His Son. So, Mary was in effect an incubator for the Son of God. It was in her womb that God prepared a body for the Word to become flesh and do the will of God.
Regarding the Word becoming flesh, Phillipians says this:
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
—Phillipians 2:5-7
In verse 7 above, it says Jesus made himself of “no reputation”. I don’t know much Greek, but I know the Greek word used here is “kenoo”, which means emptied. He emptied Himself of His omnipresence, omniscience, etc. To be a faithful and merciful high priest, Jesus had to share in our humanity. So we had the Word of God, fully God, emptying Himself of His omni-everything (His God-hood if you will) and entering the body prepared for Him in the womb of Mary in order to do the will of God.
Jesus humbled Himself and entered into the world in a manger, not a palace. So Jesus was born of the virgin Mary in order to share in our humanity and to become a faithful and merciful high priest for us and also to be an example for us. He grew and learned to be obedient to God and became perfect. He is our model. We are to emulate Him and become mature and obtain the full measure of the fullness of Christ.
So Jesus did the will of God in His life and before He endured the cross, He prayed this:
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
—JOHN 17:5
So originally, Jesus had the glory of God upon Himself in heaven. He then came down from heaven and took the form of flesh, humbling himself, and ridding himself of the glory he had. Jesus walked the road of humility in order that when He was exalted, He was able to become a high priest in the order of Melchizedek and save those who believe in Him.
So to recap: Jesus was the Word and the Word was God. Then the Word emptied Himself of His omnipotence, omniscience, etc. and became flesh in order to share in our humanity so that He might be our faithful and merciful high priest. Then after completing the will of God, Jesus ascended into heaven and was restored to the glory He had before He came to earth and now waits in heaven in all His glory at the right hand of the Father and will come again riding upon the clouds in all His glory and every eye shall (see REV 1:7)!

It is true Joel said in the last days people will have dreams and visions, so on one hand, I don’t discount such things, but on the other hand, we are supposed to judge prophecies. A dream or vision that is from the LORD will never contract the Bible. So we are supposed to judge prophecies and test the spirits. If they don’t line up with the Word, they should be rejected.

An enigma for science
Modern technology has revealed even more the prodigious character of the image formed on Juan Diego’s tilma on December 12, 1531. This image remains unexplained — an enigma for science — more than 450 years after it was created, despite the many tests by scientists. In 1951, Jose Carlos Salinas Chavez, examining a good photograph of the face, discovers the image of what clearly appears to be a bearded man reflected in the right eye of the Virgin, and locates it on the left eye too. Since then, many people have had the opportunity to inspect closely the eyes of the Virgin on the tilma, including more than 20 physicians and ophthalmologists. They all came to the conclusion that the bearded man was Juan Diego.
Moreover, the image has been mysteriously protected from malevolent attacks over the centuries. For example, on November 14, 1921, Luciano Perez, a worker, came to lay a wreath of flowers on the main altar of the basilica, just in front of the miraculous image of the Virgin. He had hidden a bomb in the wreath, which exploded when he left the church. The blow destroyed the steps of the altar, the candelabras, even the windows of neighboring homes, but the window protecting the image remained intact.
