Films like City of Angels and The Space Between Us retell the love story of fallen angels coming to earth. In this analysis, we examine the fallen angel love theme in the newest installment of deception. Ultimately, the fallen ones would like us to empathize with them, understanding why they fell to earth and went into the daughters of men. They employ tactics of flattery and stroking the woman’s ego to get us to accept why they did what they did. The theme is no different in The Space Between Us.
