By Bill Perkins

“Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord” (1Thess. 4:17).

The upcoming Rapture, literally the “catching away,” is to me, the most intriguing of all biblical doctrine. Nothing could be more exciting than thinking about not dying physically, but rather changing from earth to heaven.

Everything seems normal, then very quickly everything changes forever.

The Greek word for this term “caught up” is “harpazo” which means “to seize, catch up, snatch away by force.”

This is the same Greek word used to describe how the Spirit “snatched” Philip away from the Ethiopian eunuch.

“When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched (Greek-harpazo) Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing. But Philip found himself at Azotus” (Acts 8:39-40).

Philip was miraculously transported by God from one place to another. (Imagine him telling that story to his family!)

The English word “Rapture” comes from a Latin word, “rapio,” which means to seize or snatch in relation to being carried away in spirit or in body from one place to another.

Therefore the Rapture of the Church is the forceful removal, or carrying away, of believers from earth to heaven.

Most believers living today sense the day of the Rapture is getting close. I think the current generations have an odds-on chance of being in this ultimately famous group if they live out a normal life span.

We easily see that what was written prophetically about the end of the Church Age is happening all around us. How close we are to our exodus we don’t really know. But most solid believers sense the end of this age could be close.

Just living in this time period is tough. We recoil when we see perversion flaunted. We cringe when we see sin exalted. And we know the Lord ranks lying up there in the same category as murder. Yet it’s commonplace and mostly unchallenged in our nation today.

“Woe to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions” (Isaiah 10:1).

God Gave Us Prophecy for Comfort

We know the Bible warns of God’s coming judgment on sin, but at the same time we’re COMFORTED by what we know about Bible prophecy. After discussing the Rapture of believers, Paul ends with this sentence:

“Therefore comfort one another with these words… (1 Thess. 4:18).

God’s promise of the Rapture is comforting because it’s His promise and assurance that we  will NOT be part of the earth’s horrific seven-year Tribulation—God’s horrific judgment on sinful mankind.

God’s Purpose for the Rapture

Therefore, the purpose of the Rapture is to close the dispensation of the Church Age and remove believers before God’s wrath comes on earth.

“For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:9).

The Bible says others have been “caught up” to heaven in the past. So we can get a glimpse of what will transpire at that moment.

Enoch Was Raptured

The first to be raptured, or “taken up” to heaven before death, was Enoch, who lived prior to Abraham.

“Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him” (Genesis:24).

“By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; AND HE WAS NOT FOUND BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIM UP; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God” (Hebrews 11:5).

Paul Was Raptured

Paul was also Raptured, or “caught up” to heaven, when he was living on the earth.

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago – whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows – such a man was caught up to the third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2).

This “catching away” to heaven left a lasting impression on Paul. So profound was the experience that the Lord had to give him a “thorn in the flesh” to keep him humble back here on earth.

“Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me to keep me from exalting myself” (2 Cor. 12:7).

God also forbade Paul from talking about what he saw in heaven, a fact that makes me heavily discount ANYTHING someone says he saw when he died briefly, went to heaven and came back.

“…was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak”  (2 Cor. 12:4).

Therefore, it seems highly unlikely that a six year old boy as in the book Heaven Is for Real would be God’s new spokesperson for heaven when Paul himself was told not permitted to talk about it. (Just saying.)

The  “Lie” in the Tribulation

Undoubtedly, there will have to be an explanation as to what happened to all the missing people. The Bible calls it the “Lie.”

“For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence (Greek= “activity of error”) so that they will believe THE LIE…” (2 Thess. 2:11).

It’s quite possible that the great lie will be the explanation of what happened to all of the believers who suddenly disappeared. Millions will vanish without warning and without a trace   of where they went.

The sudden disappearance of so many will cause massive disruptions. Cars wrecking and planes falling due to drivers who vanished are only the tip of the iceberg. Key business leaders, prison guards and born again pastors will be gone. And possibly even a politician might be missing.

Therefore “the lie” could be that people from another planet or universe removed those who were ruining the planet. Or they were taken to another planet for reprogramming. That would also explain the 50 year push to make UFOs plausible.

Blessings from Studying the Rapture

The fact you’re interested in reading this article, looking forward to meeting Jesus in the air at the Rapture, puts you in a special category of people: those LOOKING for that incredible day to arrive.

“…in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”  (2 Timothy 4:8).

Not to mention, the book of Revelation, which contains almost all prophecy, is the only book in the Bible promising a blessing for just reading it!

“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy…” (Rev. 1:3)

So, you’re blessed for looking forward to the Rapture. You’re blessed to be excluded from receiving God’s wrath in the Tribulation. And you’re comforted too by the fact God is still in control! And throughout it all, when we die or are raptured, we win! Gotta love that!

We should pray always that the Lord will give us more and more occasions to explain what we know.

“Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity” (Col. 4:5).

“…he who turns a sinner from the error of his way [allows the Lord to use them] will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” (James 5:20)

The bottom line is this: We are most likely living in the last of the last days, a special generation of believers who can be like Noah, testifying about biblical truth right up to the end!

Use us, Lord!

“Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord” (1Thess. 4:17).

“The upcoming Rapture, literally the “catching away,” is to me, the most intriguing of all biblical doctrine. Nothing could be more exciting than thinking about not dying physically, but rather changing from earth to heaven.”

Bill I am having a difficult time finding the words that state anyone including Jesus Christ is going to heaven.

Certainly Christ is coming FROM heaven to earth but how do you get 1 Thes 4: 17 to say “changing from earth to heaven” is beyond me.

Now I do read that at the Last Day and At the Last Trump (the 7th) the Saints i.e. the First Fruits of the Father will rise changed from corruptible flesh and blood or from death to Incorruptible Spirit and those in that first resurrection will rule with Christ on the Throne of David here on earth.

In fact the resurrected Saints will rise with the same spirit body as Jesus Christ has now. Phil 3: 21. Those in that first resurrection will see Christ as He is as they will be like HIM.

I have been studying the WORD for decades and I can find 3 resurrection here on earth but not a rapture to heaven.

In both the Old and the New Testament the Saints of God are to inherit the EARTH not heaven.

Bill, the Work of God is here on earth and that work is not finished, do you think God will just walk a way and leave the earth in the ruined condition we caused?

Bill one more point God’s wrath is going to fall first upon the House of Israel and that wrath is known as The Time of Jacob’s trouble which takes place during the first 3 1/2 years of the 7 years of time of the end and during the last year of the last 3 1/2 years the “Day of the Lord” is God’s wrath upon the gentile nations that have taken the whole house of Israel into captivity.

The 7th Seal which contains the 7 Trumpet plagues IS The Day of the LORD.

Bill are you familiar with Matthew 24

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

So the tribulation is over and then the 6th Seal which is the heavenly signs take place and then the sign of the Son of man occurs in heaven and ALL the earth sees Christ coming in the clouds.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Bill these words of our Savior are stating after the tribulation ( 5th Seal) and after the Heavenly signs (the 6th Seal) and at the sound of the last trumpet (7th Seal) Christ sends His angels to gather His Elect.

Bill there is no rapture to be found in the words of Jesus Christ as recorded by Matthew, Mark, Luke or John, a resurrection to eternal life YES but that takes place here on earth.

  • Anyone that teaches pre tribulation Rapture has absolutely NO Grasp of Scripture

    • thank You! A truthful statement if there were ever was one! Anyone who actually reads and studies the Bible can clearly see that the pre-tribulation “Rapture” is a complete fabrication by unscrupulous people for a particular purpose.

      • Anyone who does not teach the pre-trib rapture has absolutely NO grasp of the Scripture. The Rapture ends the church age and God starts dealing with Israel again. You people do not rightly divide the word of God so deal in terms of the kingdom gospel and the law. May God open your eyes.

        • A brief list of those involved with futurism and a pre-tribulation “rapture”
          Francisco Ribera-Catholic Jesuit
A whole host of others added to the idea of futurism and the pre-tribulation “rapture” idea between the time of these men
Manuel Lacunza aka Juan Josafat Ben Ezra-Catholic Jesuit
          Edward Irving
          John Nelson Darby
C.I. Scofield with help from Samuel Untermeyer and Oxford University Press publishes the “Scofield Bible”.
Perhaps you may want to take the time to investigate these people and actually know who and what you are buying into spiritually.

In addition to the above issues many Christians are basing their assumptions on Biblical quotes of the self-proclaimed (alleged) Apostle Paul aka Saul of Tarsus. The problem is Paul never saw Jesus your Bible tells you so if you would only carefully study it. If Paul did in fact see Jesus then you must conclude that Jesus was a liar plain and simple. I don’t believe Jesus would have misled anyone but I absolutely believe Pharisee Paul would work to deceive everyone!

          • I don’t believe Jesus would have misled anyone but I absolutely believe Pharisee Paul would work to deceive everyone!

            =======

Jesus as God out, Jews as Gods in.

          • Go get him, Damien.

          • Rex Ivy lie number one:

“Paul never saw Jesus your Bible tells you so…”

Au contraire. Anyone who’s ever read Paul’s epistles or the book of Acts knows that the Bible DOES tell us Paul met Jesus — in very plain language and more than once.

            Rex Ivy lie number two:

“If Paul did in fact see Jesus then you must conclude that Jesus was a liar plain and simple.”

That’s your standard, garden-variety, plain, old-fashioned balderdash, right there. Those are the words of a man who’s not taken time to let the language of Scripture do the teaching and insists rather on OVER-interpreting the New Testament to such a degree that he winds up in the wilderness barking hysterical accusations against God’s chosen vessels.

An unenviable predicament to be in — to say the least.

          • I’m not barking in the wilderness at anything the Bible states what it states. Paul’s stories don’t add up period! You can’t reconcile the accounts in Acts written by Luke (supposedly) and Paul’s account in Galatians 1 written by his own hand. Paul was a liar! That’s your problem! I have a whole pile of Paul’s lies to share but you love his lies so why not allow free thinking people an opportunity to decide for themselves? As far as Damien goes, just because A isn’t right doesn’t automatically mean B is correct, the answer could be something different. I don’t support any religion whatsoever I simply try to follow Jesus’s core teaching. You guys love books and old writings more than the God they supposedly represent. Perhaps someone should have informed you long ago that they were written by men.

          • “I’m not barking in the wilderness at anything the Bible states what it states.”

You flatly contradict Scripture, Rex. THREE times, the telling of Paul’s first encounter with Jesus is given in the New Testament. The Bible says plainly it happened. You say it didn’t. There’s not much to say beyond that.

“Paul’s stories don’t add up period!”

Yes, I know you think so. But last time you and I addressed this issue I suggested you should review all of the pertinent verses in GREEK, and then compare. There are a multitude of websites you can utilize to do so – one need not speak or understand New Testament Greek.

“You can’t reconcile the accounts in Acts written by Luke (supposedly) and Paul’s account in Galatians 1 written by his own hand.”

Of course I can. Which bits do you think are irreconcilable? Be specific and I will show you, right here, that there are no irreconcilable differences between the testimonies.

            “Paul was a liar!”

You bear false witness against an apostle of God.

“I have a whole pile of Paul’s lies to share…”

I’ve reviewed your work, Rex. I know precisely what you have. You have nothing that cannot be resolved with careful consideration and attention to the details of Scripture. Prove me wrong if you feel you are able. I have told you already I always make time to deal with this issue. You Paul accusers go off the rails and you drag others with you. You always make a most unfortunate mess of things.

“I simply try to follow Jesus’s core teaching.”

His core teaching? He came in the likeness of sinful flesh to offer Himself willingly as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the word so that all who believe in Him may be saved from God’s wrath. He was crucified, died, and was raised on the third day. And He is Lord over all. That is His core teaching and you deny all of it.

“You guys love books and old writings more than the God they supposedly represent.”

A vacuous charge. God has revealed Himself to us in a number of ways, but after nature, most notably among them are the Scriptures. God has revealed Himself to us in His written word. He has provided us with that revelation, preserved that revelation and seen it transmitted to us across the millennia. Now you can think what you want, but in my little corner of the world, that makes the Scriptures some mighty important Books. The Scriptures are utterly unique and are the window through which we may look at God.

“Perhaps someone should have informed you long ago that they were written by men.”

As indeed they were. Men spoke as they were moved by God. Men wrote as they were inspired by the Spirit of God. All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for teaching and for doctrine. You would know this if you actually believed what God has told us in His written Word.

          • In your world God has only spoken to a certain group of desert dwellers in the Middle East. If that is the God of your choosing so be it, for you. I believe God is for all people not certain tribes or ethnic groups. I have read enough of this and researched it enough to see that it is chock full of made up non-sense. Many others have seen it for exactly what it is unfortunately you hold faith more valuable than facts. If you are basing your faith on refutable facts then you have faith in falsehoods, it is that simple. You can’t handle the fact that you’ve wasted a great deal of your life wandering the earth believing the lies of desert dwellers. So you must strike out at everyone that has evidence that proves what you believe is let’s say suspect. You know that I am far from alone in my conclusions concerning Paul and all you choose to do lob insults and proclaim your faith. If the God or should I say God’s of the Old Testament are what you desire you can keep it or should I say them. I say God’s because it’s plain that early on it was polytheistic. The interpretation of the Bible that I cite is the Authorized King James Version perhaps you need to investigate how that translation came into existence. Bible scholars worldwide claim that it is accurate. If it is so wrong, how is it that churches and seminaries have taught from it for centuries? Paul is a liar there is no doubt. He has lied many times and the proof is there in any language you would prefer to see those lies in. If Greek is the language that must be used to read and understand God’s word then only those who know Greek must be saved. I don’t think so. I asked you before, it is widely known that Jesus spoke Aramaic where are those writings? I would gladly read those! You claim Jesus was God in the flesh and that He wanted the world to read His message. Jesus performed approximately 40 miracles including, raising Lazarus from the dead, turning water into wine, feeding thousands with practically nothing, walked on water, healed the lepers, healed the blind, cast out demons, raised from the dead and ascended into heaven and His message was so important but He just couldn’t perform the miracle of “WRITING” His message Himself. Now that’s a miracle! Oh yea, forget the Aramaic and the Hebrew let’s get the Greek that’ll work! Who is there that can attest that the “Greek” translation from Aramaic and Hebrew was accurate? Nobody! Like I said you love ancient writings.

          • Rex

If what you hold out as truth is not based in fact upon the WORD of GOD then your beliefs are just wishful hoping on your part.

You said ” I believe God is for all people not certain tribes or ethnic groups.”

            Here is what Jesus Christ said in that regard;

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go —- not — into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans — enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

24 But he answered and said, — I am not sent — but — unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

God the Father sent Christ to call the House of Israel to repentance and only later were the gentiles offered salvation IF and ONLY if they were “grafted” into the House of Israel — ONLY those of the House of Israel WILL EVER BE offered Salvation.

Thus one must become of the House of Israel to be given the gift of eternal life.

Remember the NEW Covenant is with the House of Israel and the House of Judah NEVER WITH A GENTILE NATION,

            Jeremiah 31
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be “”my”" people.

The new covenant is made only with the House of Israel now and later the House of Judah will be included after Christ returns.

If you are not an Israelite you can never be in the Kingdom of God.

The 12 Gates of the NEW Jerusalem are for the 12 tribes and each gate is named after a tribe.

          • Rex

Are you at all familiar with paragraphs ??

They are very helpful in separating thought into understandable sections .

          • Rex wrote:

“In your world God has only spoken to a certain group of desert dwellers in the Middle East.”

Again, you don’t have any idea what Scripture teaches. Why do you pretend you do?

            Romans 1:19-20

For what can be known about God is plain to [ALL MEN], because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

“If that is the God of your choosing so be it, for you.”

We don’t choose our maker, Rex. He chose us. And created us. You deny Him because you misunderstand Him.

“I believe God is for all people not certain tribes or ethnic groups.”

This is exactly what the Bible teaches. God so loved THE WORLD, Rex… not just the Jooooz. You need to pay better attention when you read. Or you need to start actually paying attention when you read. One or the other. (That was not a gratuitous insult, Rex. I am merely stating an obvious truth with brevity.)

“Many others have seen it for exactly what it is unfortunately you hold faith more valuable than facts.”

I don’t care how many ignorant men in this world agree on anything. You may take your place among the ignorant and you will then reap what you sow. You are in a hurry to support your own religion, Rex – a religion of your own making. You do what you do. I will at least try to do as He has asked and seek accordingly. And lucky for me, I don’t need to rely on you to do my reading for me.

“If you are basing your faith on refutable facts then you have faith in falsehoods…”

Notice, Rex, how I keep asking you for evidence of these ‘refutable facts’? I’ll ask you again. And again. All you ever do is talk about them, but you never actually produce any of them for me to refute. Do we even waste time wondering why that is?

“…strike out at everyone that has evidence that proves what you believe is let’s say suspect.”

Um, Rex? I’m still waiting for the day any of you enemies of the Word prove anything. All you ever do is talk.

“I am far from alone in my conclusions concerning Paul…”

This is valuable to you? What other men think? Lots of people believe the world is flat, Rex. Hell, billions of people believe in popes and in Mohammeds. That’s how you want to support your lies? By pointing to what other men believe? Have at it, Rex.

“…all you choose to do lob insults and proclaim your faith.”

What insults? Where have I insulted you anywhere on this page? I maintain you are wrong and you are deceived by lies. That’s not said to be insulting but merely as a reflection of what is. You make bold claims and then you fail to substantiate them. I call you out for doing that too, but again, not in any effort to besmirch or insult you.

“I say God’s because it’s plain that early on it was polytheistic.”

You are reading some other book. You are not reading the Bible.

“The interpretation of the Bible that I cite is the Authorized King James Version…”

You cite? You have cited nothing. You postulate. You assert. You claim. You insist. But you do NOT cite.

“…investigate how that translation (the KJV) came into existence.”

I did that a decade ago. Am I a King James Onlyist? I don’t rely on translations, Rex. That’s why I take the time to study the ancient biblical languages. And that’s why I keep telling you to examine the New Testament in Greek before you continue to accuse it out of ignorance.

“Bible scholars worldwide claim that it is accurate.”

Bible scholars? You know as well as I do there are millions of atheists who claim to be Bible scholars. Again, Rex – I don’t know why you’re so smitten with the opinions of other men. Are you incapable of doing your own thinking?

“Paul is a liar there is no doubt. He has lied many times and the proof is there in any language you would prefer to see those lies in.”

SHOW ME. Enough with your flapping gums, Rex. ENOUGH TALK. Try ACTUALLY citing something from the New Testament. Or just keep on lying and lying and lying and see where that gets you. I am offering my assistance in demonstrating to you the weakness of your stance. But all you would rather do is to keep insisting Paul is a bad sort of guy. Bring your evidence, fella.

“If Greek is the language that must be used to read and understand God’s word…”

No one ever said that. I said that almost ALL of the apparent contradictions in the New Testament can be easily resolved by looking at the Greek. Look at the Greek before you level false accusations. That is all I have said on the matter.

“I asked you before, it is widely known that Jesus spoke Aramaic where are those writings?”

Jesus also spoke Hebrew. Why wasn’t the New Testament written in Hebrew? Because God said He would plead with the people in ANOTHER TONGUE. The other tongue happened to be the universal language of that entire region at the time, on account of the ruling power – the Roman Empire. Koine Greek was used in commerce and as the common language. Everyone in the region spoke it. Thus, the New Testament was written in Greek – and not in any other language. Linguistic forensics aptly proves the truth of that statement, but the evidence is far too broad for a post on this board. That means you would actually have to engage in a study all on your own to determine the facts of the issue. Or you can just keep reading from the websites of men who hate the Word of God. Do as you will, Rex.

            “I would gladly read those!”

Google is your friend. Start with language experts like James VanerKam and Michael Heiser. (And to be fair, Heiser is a believer but VanderKam is not.)

“You claim Jesus was God in the flesh and that He wanted the world to read His message.”

That is a careless interpretation of my words, but okay.

“Jesus performed approximately 40 miracles including, raising Lazarus from the dead, turning water into wine … and His message was so important but He just couldn’t perform the miracle of “WRITING” His message Himself.”

He did write it Himself. What did you just use to post this preposterous comment you have written? Did you will the words onto the internet with your powers? Or did you utilize a keyboard, a CPU, electricity and the World Wide Web? You used all these created things to write your message. Christ did the same thing. He created the men who wrote as they were inspired to write by HIS SPIRIT. Try being consistent Rex, and not in such a hurry to accuse Him. Try being fair with Him. Is that really too much to ask?

“…forget the Aramaic and the Hebrew let’s get the Greek that’ll work!”

That was the way to reach the broadest number of people in that region of the world at that particular time. Which language would you have chosen to yield a better effect?

“Who is there that can attest that the “Greek” translation from Aramaic and Hebrew was accurate?”

There was no translation from Aramaic to Greek. The New Testament documents are all originally written in Greek. Again, this can be proven in a modern court of law using sciences such as forensic language analysis. There are idioms and oddities unique to every language. There are plays on words which ONLY work in the Greek language. It can always be determined when a document has been translated from one language into another. It can also be determined when a language is the original language of the document.

Study, Rex. I know you feel you’ve done your job in that regard. But friend…

…you haven’t even begun to get serious with this task yet. And you are far too busy letting other men do your thinking for you and concerning yourself with what those other men believe. Do I really need to tell you what a galactically enormous mistake that is?

          • Edit to correct last name: James VanderKam

  • NO RELIGION IS REQUIRED! THERE IS NO HELL OR SATAN! 80% OF THE BIBLE IS FALSE! THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT! EVERYBODY GOES TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH GOD! EVEN LUCIFER IS IN HEAVEN! THERE WILL BE NO RAPTURE! TIBERIUS JULIUS ABDES PANTERA WAS THE FATHER OF THE BASTARD JESUS BY RAPING AN UNDERAGE MARY! IF WE END ALL LIFE ON EARTH, GOD OR JESUS WILL NOT STOP IT!

    • No Religion! That is the answer I’m so encouraged to see people speaking out as to the obvious culprit in this world..RELIGION. You don’t need man made religion to love God and your fellow man!

      • Religion: (As per dictionary definition)

        re·li·gion
        noun
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

I’ve noticed that people around here, even Bible believers that claim to not be “religious” are exactly that by definition. The word itself seems to have taken on a negative connotation due to the baggage that comes with it. I blame this negative connotation on misunderstandings on how chruches and the word “religion” have become synonymous with each other.

The truth is though, that by definition, if you believe in a God and pay homage to God…

You’re religious. There’s no two ways about that, unless of course you can get Merriam-Webster to start changing definitions. (Not that they don’t change definitions to keep international bankers out of trouble. Sarc.)

  • It is a biblical fact according to the bibles own figures that last days are the last 70 years of the number of years between BC596…to AD70 = 666 yrs the period of time outlined once as a MAN and once as a BEAST in Daniel Ch 2 & 7 respectively .as the time the 7 fold (7 seals/trumps vials) curse of the law of Moses was poured out on the physical seed of Israel purified until only a spiritual seed was left…

This is also how we know slam dunk that Muhammad was a false teacher…just like most “bible teaching Christians”…….THE SECOND COMING Thou Fool! “I come quickly” so “Hold fast till i come”… NOT …“in another 2000 yrs I might be coming soon any time now, so hold fast”!?! …those that deny the second coming of Christ in that first generation are practicing a damnable heresy in denying the lord that bought them ( 2Peter 2:1-2 ;2Tim 4:8)…….Mat 7:23..”I NEVER KNEW YOU” …..Mat 10:33. But whosoever shall deny me before men……..sound familiar?…. ……. If I said I am coming to your house in this generation when these things happen but no one knows the day or hour what fool would think I might be coming in 2000 years latter!?!? ..2 Tim 4: 4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be TURNED UNTO FABLES.

Gal 1: 8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

The book of Revelation offers us an interesting Theological dilemma. It states Rev 22:16. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. Revelation also states it is “the true sayings” of Jesus and that it is “the testimony of Christ”. If this is not “the gospel of Jesus Christ” then what is it and should we consider it accursed testimony of an angel? If it is not to be considered accursed, then it cannot be some other gospel message then what was already given previously. However, this is the conundrum, for if this is the gospel message, then why do so few understand it? There is a possibility which few consider but is the overall thesis of this apology. The reason people don’t understand revelation is because they never understood what the gospel message was in the first place! In that case, where does that put those who claim it is not essential for salvation? Do you not find it quite curious that the most “Personally” given NT book By Jesus himself, is the least understood and given the least importance for Salvation in Christendom?….There are numerous preachers and bible exegetes but as Paul said “… I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge” . Most who profess the name of Christ are feeding on doctrines of devils and the ignorant.. There are, without question, many “qualified” teachers and scholars with many years of “dedication” and “solid education”. However, teachers, no matter how well lettered or numbered in degrees; if obtained from others; who are just as equally ignorant in such matters, are just “ blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”………………

Those looking for a physical return of Christ and your physical body to “leave the dirt” resurrected (1Cor 15:36-37) you are carnal mined & or living in prov 26:12

DAY OF THE LORD”/ YEAR OF THE LORD – does NOT last for 24 hours!?!..Also means the day of resurrection & judgment do not last for one hour or one day either! They only begin (NOT END) in a certain hour & on a certain 24 hour day ….”SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS to arise”…..NOT..”come & get (your new resurrected body) it while it is still hot, only 24 hours of solar power left”!?!

The second coming took place already and Christ promised that only HIS PEOPLE would see him ….John 14:19. Yet a little while, and THE WORLD SEETH ME NO MORE;….. [2 Cor 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ AFTER THE FLESH, yet NOW HENCEFORTH KNOW WE HIM NO MORE….(here the Context of John 14 is his second coming)…..continued…..but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20. AT THAT DAY .. 21. He that hath my commandments, and KEEPETH THEM, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and WILL MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM……(again taking note “as he is” or 1Jn 3:2)

    22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, HOW IS IT THAT THOU WILT MANIFEST THYSELF UNTO US AND NOT UNTO THE WORLD? 23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.( Rev 3:20) 24. He that loveth me not.. (1Cor 16:22)…. KEEPETH NOT MY SAYINGS: ( REV 9:16-20)

REVELATION 1:7. Behold, HE COMETH WITH CLOUDS; and EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, …. There is a parallel here with ………….Exodus 24:10. And THEY SAW THE GOD OF ISRAEL : and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. 11. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also THEY SAW GOD, and did eat and drink………..But Christ said….. John 1:18. NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. A person can see with their understanding and or see with their eyes…. It can see “seen” for certain that everything that Christ described was seen by the folks of that day in His coming but do they perceive that was him? …So what Christ said is true every eye saw him but the world does not see him….. With the eye they and folks still today can see everything Christ described to have taken place, but they do not “keep” ( believe and understand) his words as such they do not see him nor shall they ever.

The saints who have physical died faithful in the flesh (every man in his own order) are changed in the blink of an eye & caught up to sit on that Great white throne ( this congregation of the saints is the body of Christ that folks will answer to at the judgment and these saints will judge all men who cannot see Christ along with the rest of the world……Folks think they are waiting to see Jesus but they will NEVER see Jesus himself they will only see the body of Christ condemn them the saints judge the world (Rev 3:21; 1 Cor 6:2 et al) the saints are the body of Christ…that is the only part of Christ they shall see….only the saints shall see God face to face…..most peoples idea of the second coming & day of the Lord and the judgment is completely wrong
