Birthday parties, weddings, VIP areas of a club and even some funerals are a few examples of events we need invitations to attend. There’s something special about an invitation that makes you feel important to the person that gave it to you. Have you ever thought that the negative and positive energy in our lives works the same way. We pray to God for him to bless all of our new-found resolutions for 2014. Increase my territory. Increase my finances. Decrease my weight. Give me a raise. Give me a new house. The list goes on and on. We are greedy by nature and the more we get, it seems like the more we want. But there just may be a way to get the things we really want out of life.
Imagine getting invited to a private party. You get freshened up, pull out your most trendy clothes, and get ready for the time of your life. Only to find out that when you arrive at the party, the person throwing it slams the door in your face. You look puzzled and don’t understand how you received the invite, but the host treated you with such disrespect.
